AR KKU does good deeds, planting trees, for the Queen Mother

The Faculty of Architecture plants the trees on occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother’s birthday anniversary on August 12, 2019

On August 8, 2019 at the Faculty of Architecture, KKU Assoc. Prof. Dr. Choopong Thongkamsamut, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, presided over the opening ceremony of “Planting Trees for Mom Project.” This project was a part of green faculty activities organized to transform environment in faculties into green university and to promote healthy environment. It was also an opportunity to express loyalty to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother on her 87th birthday anniversary.

Moreover, this project was aimed to promote unity and stronger relationship among staff members of the Faculty of Architecture. They would be encouraged to be aware of participation in environmental development, both inside and outside the faculty. This activity could make the faculty a pleasant place to study, work, and visit, which was consistent with KKU strategy transforming the university into green university.
