KKU Computer Science Students Shine with 4 Awards at AUCC 2025

From February 19-21, 2025, at Uttaradit Rajabhat University, the Computer Science and Information Science program under the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University, achieved remarkable recognition on the ASEAN stage. The team won four awards at the 13th ASEAN Undergraduate Conference in Computing (AUCC 2025).

The student team from the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies at KKU achieved outstanding success, earning one “Very Good” award and three “Good” awards out of five projects submitted. This accomplishment reflects the quality of education and innovation development within the program.

Award-Winning Projects

  • Very Good Award:

“Boonjai: An Online Donation Application”, developed by Mr. Jesada Pobsamai and Ms. Napassorn Duangjan, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanda Sorn-in.

  • Good Awards (3 projects):
  1. “Tam Roi Review (Keep Reviewing): A Web Platform for Sharing Experiences”

Developed by Ms. Amornrat Maraheaw, Ms. Wannapa Baonak, and Ms. Akkaporn Raikham, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanda Sorn-in.

  1. “Help Walker”

Developed by Mr. Arun Srisawat, Mr. Rattapong Panchareon, and Mr. Apitoon Duangjankloy, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Noppakun Boonsim.

  1. “Low-Cost IoT”

Developed by Mr. Kritawat Intarasit and Ms. Sornsawan Prai-anan, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Tawun Remsungnen.

Additionally, another project titled “Development of IS Guide: An OpenAI Chatbot System for Student Guidance at the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, KKU” by Mr. Winyu Prompipak and Mr. Nuttakarn Intarapanit garnered significant attention from attendees.

Faculty Perspective

Asst. Prof. Dr. Nongram Muanrith, one of the advisors, stated, “This success underscores the potential of our students and highlights the quality of education at the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, KKU, which emphasizes the development of innovations that address societal needs.”
