April 5, 2024, from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. – The Division of Education Quality Development, the Administrative Section, organized a seminar – the 7th TQC Plus Conference – to promote the leading of the organization towards excellence based on the Thailand Quality Award, through implementation of administrators. Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University opened the conference, while Asst. Prof. Tala Thammaroj, M.D., Vice President for Administration gave the reporting speech. Attending the conference were the national quality prize assessors, administrators, vice presidents, assistants to the president, and director of the various divisions. The conference was organized at Sarasin Room, 2nd Floor, Sirikunakorn Building.
Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University said that the objectives of this conference were to get ready for applying for TQC Plus assessment, and to acknowledge administrators and personnel of the University of the direction and policies of Khon Kaen University regarding the applying of the national quality award criteria in their work. The President hoped that the administrators will benefit from learning about the overall guidelines of the University.
Asst. Prof. Tala Thammaroj, M.D., Vice President for Administration reported that the 7th TQC Plus Conference today presented TQC+: Operations, the principle working processes of each mission that will make the administrators know about the overall guidelines of the organization in terms of product design and/or services that follow the key stipulations and meet the important needs and expectation of the target groups, the customers, and stakeholders of the University. The major aim is to lead the organization towards excellence under the Thailand Quality Award.
All through the conference, questions were asked, answers given, and there were exchanges of opinions among administrators, personnel and Thailand Quality Award assessors of Khon Kaen University so that everyone perceive and understand, accurately and in the same direction, all of the operational guidelines according to the policies. The conference was also the preparation step before applying for the assessment of TQA.
