Savings Bank and KKU Academic Service Office issued certificates to students that joined ‘Omsin Yuwapat Rak Thin’, with “Moo-Organic Yeah!” winning the first prize and “Thung Na Pa Mon” winning the second prize
July 9, 2019 – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kriangkrai Kitjaroen, Director of Academic Service Office presided over the certificate conferral event and closing of ‘Omsin Yuwapat Rak Thin’ (Savings Bank’s Local Development Project by Youths’ project at Dusita Room, 5th Floor, Bimala Kalakicha Buidling of Khon Kaen University. 52 students from Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy and Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts attended with their supervising professors. There were 7 teams of students: 1) Water Bee, 2) Master Piece, 3) Six nature, 4) Omamori, 5) Sri Sri Aey, 6) Dream Catcher, and 7) Moo-Organic Yeah! Seven community enterprises and entrepreneurs joined in development of products namely:
1) Warisara Honey, 2) Khon City Cricket Farm, 3) Daeng Hand-made, 4) Worajak Herbal Drinks, 5) Fragrant Fermented Fish, 6) Thung Na Pa Mon, and 7) W. Tawee Farm.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kriangkrai Kitjaroen, Director of Academic Service Office said, “Presentation of the outcomes of goods and service development to the Savings Bank committee today and the competition for university excellent development group under the 2018-2019 Local Wisdom Development and Enhancement Project are the collaboration of Savings Bank, Academic Service Office, Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy and Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts of Khon Kaen University. The project aims at bringing bodies of knowledge, wisdoms and human resources with expertise and experiences together for benefits in management, accounting, marketing and development of products and packages that will lead to sustainable economic, social, and community stability.”
Results of competition at university level:
First Prize – Moo-Organic Yeah! – the team comprises 1) Miss Juthathip Samruammat, team leader, 2) Miss Parichat Burapak, 3) Miss Saruta Pradabsuk, 4) Miss Purimprat Kangwantrakoon, 5) Mr, Thanawat Wongsawiang, 6) Mr. Jitwisut Banyen, and 7) Miss Pariya Wisetkhewa.
First Runner-up – Thung Na Pa Mon – the team comprises: 1) Team leader Miss Wanicha Om-od, 2) Miss Chalita Ta-jan, 3) Miss Thamonwan Saichua, 4) Miss Angsuyada Ratanapakdee, and 5) Miss Chanakan Watanakul.
Mr. Wanit Wantawee, owner of W. Tawee Farm expressed his feeling, “Thanks to the students from Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy and Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts of Khon Kaen University who helped creating changes to W. Tawee Farm from landscaping, improving our toilets so that we can welcome tourists to the farm, public relation until there are interested people visit our farm, and building of interesting tourism route of the community. In the future, we expect that both W. Tawee Farm and community enterprises will be able to sell more products and stand on our own.”
