Khon Kaen University Library Participates in The Mekong Forum 2024 to Support Digital Inclusiveness for All

On July 31, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Supat Sinawat, Director of Khon Kaen University Library, along with the management team, was invited by the Mekong Institute to attend The Mekong Forum 2024: Breaking Through New Horizon – Digitalization, Innovation, and Technology in the GMS. The event, held from July 31 to August 1, 2024, at the Pullman Raja Orchid Hotel in Khon Kaen, is an annual international conference organized by the Mekong Institute network. It attracts over 300 representatives from government, private sectors, and academic institutions across Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Southern China.

This participation not only fosters networking and collaboration as a key partner of the Mekong Institute but also allows the Khon Kaen University Library to showcase its academic services to the community. The library set up a booth to present educational technology that supports modern learning through a Metaverse experience. Additionally, the GMS Wisdom Hub services were introduced to conference attendees, garnering significant interest and engagement from participants eager to learn and explore the Metaverse experience firsthand.

   

As a Learning Center for All, Khon Kaen University Library is dedicated to enhancing its services and is committed to supporting community learning through collaboration with various organizations. This initiative aims to propel society towards becoming a sustainable learning society.
