Khon Kaen University by Institute for Research and Development in Teaching Profession for ASEAN received support for implementing the Teacher and School Quality Area (TSQA), Khon Kaen, from the Office of Teacher Quality Development and the Education Equity Fund.
The project involves implementation of development of school and educational qualities through the participatory method of the network in Khon Kaen. The organization in charge or the organization under the control of each school is responsible for the resources, budget and administration for increasing the quality, extending the development to the network and creating sustainability. The major principle of the deployment comprises 1) area mechanism: area and province (Meso), and 2) school mechanism (Micro).
This time, the Institute for Research and Development in Teaching Profession for ASEAN, one of the network institutions for promoting the educational development of education in Khon Kaen organized the conference for discussing the deployment project “Teacher and School Quality Area (TSQA), Khon Kaen, on March 5, 2024. The individuals who take part in the educational development of Khon Kaen were invited, for example, the Office of Primary and Secondary Education Service, the local administrative organizations, the provincial public health office, the Municipality, Khon Kaen Chamber of Commerce, Office of Social Development and Human Security, which are the network, to join in deploying development of educational quality in Khon Kaen at all levels. Administrators and experts of the Institute for Research and Development in Teaching Profession for ASEAN welcomed participants who joined the discussion.
In order to support and promote the understanding of the deployment method or developing schools, the stakeholders of area/provincial education drafted the administrative structure and the roles in implementation of TSQA in Khon Kaen. The implementation period is from January 16 until June 30, 2024. The objectives are to create collaboration in the province, set the target and implementation plans, get ready for carrying out TSQA in Khon Kaen, and develop the education quality of Khon Kaen during the next 3 years.
Representatives from the Office of Primary and Secondary Education Service, the local administrative organizations, the provincial public health office, the Municipality, Khon Kaen Chamber of Commerce, Office of Social Development and Human Security, the network for implementation of the development of educational quality of Khon Kaen, both governmental and private. administrators and experts from the Institute for Research and Development in Teaching Profession for ASEAN, attended the meeting, totaling over 60 people.
