February 12-16, 2023 – Miss Tanyalak Liamsombat, a 4th year undergraduate student majoring in International Affairs of the International College, Khon Kaen University won a prize from the “Youth Award in Delegation of Thailand”, under the topic: “Strengthening ASEAN-India Partnership in the Indo-Pacific”. The event was organized at the 4th ASEAN-India Youth Summit in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. New generation leaders from 10 ASEAN member countries and India attended this event.
The 4th ASEAN-India Youth Summit was organized by India Foundation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India and the ASEAN Secretariat Bureau, with an aim to build common understanding among leaders of the new generation in ASEAN and India about the challenges, rehabilitation and connection of all dimensions in the region. The activities included special talks, study trips and cultural exchanges as well as small group discussion.
The meeting selected participants from different fields, for example youth leaders, students, political parties, Think Tanks, the media, and cultural organizations. Miss Tanyalak Liamsombat, as a representative of Thai youths had a chance to join in the learning and sharing and disseminating of Thai culture at the event.
