The Initiative Encourages Spiritual Development and Work-life Balance Among Staff and Members of the Public
Khon Kaen University recently organised a Buddhist chanting, meditation, and mindfulness session under the Ethical and Moral Promotion Programme of the Office of the President. Held on the first floor of the Sirikunakorn Building, the initiative aimed to foster spiritual development, cultivate ethical awareness, and promote a healthy work-life balance among participants.
The event was presided over by Mr. Chumporn Para, Director of the Communications Division. The session was well attended by personnel from various departments across Khon Kaen University (KKU) as well as members of the general public.
The atmosphere throughout the event remained serene, simple, and reverent. This collective participation reflected a shared commitment to promoting ethical values and cultivating mental resilience, both of which serve as crucial foundations for personal well-being and professional efficiency.
As part of its ongoing dedication to social contribution and holistic development, KKU regularly hosts these mindfulness and chanting sessions. The university encourages staff, students, and citizens to participate in these routine gatherings to achieve inner peace and contribute to a sustainable, moral society.
