COLA KKU Celebrates 19 Years of Service to Society

KHON KAEN – The College of Local Administration (COLA) at Khon Kaen University celebrated its 19th anniversary on Friday, April 3, with an event themed “19 Years of Pride, 19 Years of Delivering Value to Society.”

The ceremony, held at the college, was attended by university executives, faculty, staff, and partners from across various sectors. Associate Professor Dr. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, presided over the proceedings. He was welcomed by Assistant Professor Dr. Sirisak Laochankham, Dean of COLA, alongside the college’s leadership team and staff.

The anniversary activities commenced with a traditional Buddhist blessing ceremony to ensure prosperity for the institution. Seven monks from Wat Thep Puranaram led the prayers, followed by a formal offering of meals to the monks by the attendees.

The event concluded with a networking lunch, providing an opportunity for administrators, staff, and collaborative partners to strengthen their relationships in a warm and celebratory atmosphere.

The 19th-anniversary celebration highlighted COLA’s consistent dedication to its mission over nearly two decades. The college emphasized its ongoing commitment to education, research, and academic services aimed at the continuous development of local communities and society.
