KKU Dentistry Faculty Holds Workshop on Psychological Safety to Boost Teamwork

KHON KAENOn April 8, the Faculty of Dentistry at Khon Kaen University hosted a human resource development program titled “Communication & Team Collaboration.” The initiative focused on enhancing organizational synergy through the concept of Psychological Safety, aiming to create an environment where staff can communicate and perform to their full potential.

The primary objective was to cultivate a workplace culture where team members feel secure expressing opinions, sharing knowledge, and collaborating efficiently. By fostering psychological safety, the Faculty seeks to ensure that every voice is heard without fear of judgment.

The program featured a panel of experts, including educational and vocational counselor Suchanya Buaruang, and psychologists Phu Kaeo-amphai and Sophakphong Rattanasinthawisuk. They delivered presentations and led practical sessions focused on developing skills in communication, deep listening, and providing constructive feedback to promote trust and cooperation.

Participants engaged in several workshops designed to encourage shared learning in a secure atmosphere. These included sessions titled “My Value (Build Respect and Acceptance),” “The Story of My Value (Listen Deeply),” and “The Ideal Leader.” The workshops prompted attendees to reflect, exchange perspectives, and build mutual understanding.

The university stated that the program is a key initiative in developing the potential of its personnel. By fostering an open and safe organizational culture, the Faculty of Dentistry aims to enhance collaboration and drive sustainable development for the future.
