The direction of administration of the university will be based on readiness for accepting freedom in knowledge and access to knowledge. The university must be ready to accommodate leaping changes in technologies and digital innovations especially when these deal with education, that must be also transformed in order for students and the people to have access to the learning resources. The principle concept is to develop former programs to become New-Paradigm programs that promote new styles of learning or Flipped Classroom, with an emphasis on the outcomes (Outcome-Based Education: OBE). There will be learning media by means of the online systems and the content of each curriculum adjusted to incorporate cross-disciplinary integration that accents necessary future skills. KKU is particularly expecting to build programs that incorporate job technologies and the ever-changing lifestyles as both degree and non-degree programs. Students are able to learn on campus or via an online system, which allows learning at anytime and anywhere. There will be a system enabling students to accumulate their credits for a degree later.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pensri Jaroenwanit, Dean of KKBS said that the life-long learning that is based on course and credit accumulation under the program to produce lawyers who are competent in business administration will also be a credit bank system. Law students are able to take business administration courses at the graduate level while they are studying at the undergraduate level. This is a new context of Thai education to integrate different disciplines together.

KKU President, Assoc. Prof. Charnchai added at the end of the orientation that the university thanks the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy as well as the Chamber of Commerce, Khon Kaen and the City Development of Khon Kaen for initiating this project, which meets KKU policy. “I believe that the outcomes will be double because we will have lawyers who know about businesses. When working at different companies, these lawyers will be able to assist in terms of law. Many may also want to turn to business and so the business will run well because they know about law. That means they have more choices in their life. We are grateful to our friends, especially KK Chamber of Commerce that will enhance the students with knowledge from real experiences. Students should pay attention well and collect the experiences that will add to the value of yourselves when you graduate. You have greater advantages than others.”
