KKU throws a conference aiming to gain opinions on measures for the university’s image promotion and lessen online damage on the university’s reputation.
On June 7, 2019, Mrs.Natsamol Tanakulrungsarit, an acting president assistant for special affairs, Mr. Tanya Pakdee, an acting director of the public relation division together with the members of the public relation division met up at KKU administration building to discuss measures for the university’s online image protection.
Mrs.Natsamol Tanakulrungsarit, an acting president assistant for special affairs, said KKU is awared of its role and image that is presented on the website. In order to cope with the international alteration, website needs to be hosted via the medium of English. The university website should be updated in order to maintain the university’s image. The website should also previde contents that are attractive for to both KKU students and the local and the international viewers. To achieve this goal, the development of KKU website has to gain collaboration from language experts and academics on public communication.
The meeting entered an agreement to establish a channel at which the website caretakers can effectively use for communicating with the audiences of KKU’s Facebook Fanpage. It was advised in the meeting that the university host a training to for online risk management for its IT members. In addition, a random evaluation of the viewers’ satisfaction should be conducted in order to obtain suggestions that can be used as baselines for the university’s website development.
