The Faculty of Education at Khon Kaen University, under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issara Kanjak, Dean, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jarunee Samat, Associate Dean for Education and Quality Development, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Danita Duangwilai, Assistant Dean for Teacher Professional Development and Academic Services, and Assoc. Prof. Onanong Ritruechai, Deputy Director of the Center for Teacher Professional Experience, recently held a pivotal meeting. This gathering aimed to clarify and solidify the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on academic collaboration with school directors, deputy directors, and educators from 96 network schools serving as professional training centers. Conducted online on October 17, 2024, this initiative seeks to transform these schools into beacons of educational innovation.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issara Kanjak emphasized that this collaboration marks a significant milestone in forging a robust partnership between the university and schools. The goal is to enhance educational personnel and effectively apply academic insights to improve educational management. The initiative focuses on various developmental aspects, such as implementing learner-centered teaching, nurturing visionary educators, and integrating cutting-edge technology into the learning process.
Moreover, this partnership extends to other academic advancements aimed at optimizing education and professional development. The Faculty of Education at Khon Kaen University is dedicated to empowering network schools with the resources and expertise needed to foster educational innovations, thereby sustainably raising the standards of Thai education.
Under this agreement, network schools have the opportunity to become model schools in up to 15 distinct areas, including:
1. Learning management that fosters creativity and innovation.
