April 9-11, 2024 – Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, by the Student Development Section and the Student Union of the Faculty, organized the 5th Learning and Sharing Project for development of student quality and student activities of the regional institution network. The aim is to achieve the goal in developing quality graduates for the society, who possess the competency and the 21st Century skills. This project was organized under the collaboration of the Thailand Regional Business Schools Network (TRBS NET), which comprises Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University; Faculty of Business Administration, Chiangmai University; Faculty of Management Science and Tourism, Burapa University; and Faculty of Management Science, Prince of Songkla University. This year, KKBS, Khon Kaen University was the host.
The event began with Assoc. Prof. Pensri Jaroenwanich, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy welcomed the administrators, lecturers, staff and students who are the activity leaders of the TRBS NET, and delivered the opening address. This was followed by a forum on the topic: “Activity is the leader of success”. Distinguished speakers in the forum included Dr. Narissara Palusuk, Vice Dean for Student Development and Organization Image, Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy; and Khun Nattapon Khaowisut, CEO of MNOP Consultant Co. Ltd. The next session included the learning and sharing of activities for the society; presentations of Best Practices / Best Projects in student development from the Student Unions of the 4 universities; small group brainstorming of the students on the traditional activities of students of the 4 network universities, and discussion of the creative freshmen welcoming activities in order to make the implementation plan that meets the needs of the new-generation students under the challenges of the changes. The final activity was the study trip to see the lifestyle and Isan products development at Sila Homestay Community.
