November 7, 2022 – Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy of Khon Kaen University signed an MOU or an academic collaboration memorandum of understanding with the universities in the Thailand Regional Business Schools Network (TRBS NET), namely, Faculty of Business Administration of Chiangmai University, Faculty of Business Administration of Burapa University, Faculty of Management Science of Prince of Songkhla University, and Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy of Khon Kaen University. The objectives of this agreement are to promote academic, research and academic service collaboration, student and staff development, educational quality assurance and certifying of international standards. The MOU life is 5 years from 2022 until 2026.
The 4 institutions signing the MOU were: Assoc. Prof. Pensri Charoenwanich, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy of Khon Kaen University; Asst. Prof. Kongphu Nimanan, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration of Chiangmai University; Asst. Prof. Pannee Pimapansri, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration of Burapa University; and Asst. Prof. Teerawat Hangsaphruek, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Management Science of Prince of Songkhla University. Administrators and staff of the 4 institutions attended the ceremony as witnesses. After the signing of the MOU, the 2nd meeting of 2022 of the Thailand Regional Business School Network (TRBS NET) was held, along with the learning and sharing session among the supporting staff. The Faculty of Business Administration of Burapa University hosted the meeting this year.
The Thailand Regional Business Schools Network (TRBS NET) was founded in 2017, with collaboration of the 4 leading institutions that offer programs in business administration in the 4 regions of Thailand. The objectives were to strengthen research and academic works in the field of business administration and accountancy so that these are accepted internationally. The venue has been formed for presentation of research by students, lecturers, and academicians in the field of business administration and accountancy and to disseminate bodies of knowledge from the research both in the country and abroad, as well as to build the atmosphere for learning and sharing of research in the fields for the lecturers, students and academicians at the national and international levels.
