“Nanosilicon” Manufacturing Prototype Factory Research Project is a prototype factory to manufacture “nanosilicon” from rice husks and ash for use in lithium ion battery poles. The nano materials can replace carbon, which is the conventional material in the manufacturing of anodes or cathodes of lithium ion batteries. This type of battery’s ability to store power is highest among other commercial batteries, Its working life is also long before it needs charging. Therefore, this battery is promising and potential for development in the industry in the future. The said project is continued from the laboratory-scale research and is being developed towards the industrial-scale since the product from the prototype factory is commercially viable.
