KKU is placed the 2nd in Thailand by Scimago 2022 for business, management and accountancy

April 8, 2022 – Assoc. Prof. Pensri Charoenwanit, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy told KKU news correspondents that SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR) announced this year’s ranking of the world universities (Scimago Institutions Rankings 2022) on the website: https://www.scimagoir.com The result of the ranking in Business, Management and Accounting of KKBS is the second from 18 institutions in Thailand in the same field.

is the ranking of institutions with the research work being placed at the international level. The ranking has been done on 7533 research organizations all over the world, not only universities but including specialized institutions such as technological institutes, colleges, hospitals, research institutes, etc. The ranking has been done on the institutions’ capacity in disseminating their research works of all types on Scopus.

This year ranking in the field of Business, Management and Accounting is as follows:

1^st in Thailand (World’s 499^th place): Chulalongkorn University

**2^nd in Thailand (World’s 513 place): Khon Kaen University

3^rd in Thailand (World’s 527^th place): Mahidol University

4^st in Thailand (World’s 593^th place): Thammasat University

5^th in Thailand (World’s 654^th place): Kasetsart University

6^th in Thailand (World’s 683^th place): Asian Institute of Technology

7^th in Thailand (World’s 717^th place): National Institute of Development Administration

8^th in Thailand (World’s 719^th place): Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University

9^th in Thailand (World’s 722^th place): Chiang Mai University

9^th in Thailand (World’s 722^th place): King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang

10^th in Thailand (World’s 750^th place): Prince of Songkhla University
