Graduate of Law KKU becomes the top examinee of the 73rd Thai Barrister at Law

Tuesday March 29, 2022 at the Meeting Room, 4th Floor, Institute of Legal Education, Thai Barrister Association Building, an event was held in which Mr. Sakda Chuangrungsri, Secretariat of the Institute presented the trophy and prize from Chao Phraya Mahithorn Heir Fund to Mr. Nakarin Lertduaylap, who attained the top score of the 73rd Thai Barrister at Law examination. Nakarin is a graduate from the 13th class of Law students, Khon Kaen University.

On this occasion, Nakarin Lertduaylap gave an interview, explaining how he felt and left some words for the younger students at the school.

“All through the 4 years of the program of law at the Faculty of Law, Khon Kaen Univesity, I was impressed with the learning atmosphere there. Besides the classroom instruction, where the Faculty invited a lot of qualified professors from outside to teach us, there were also many useful activities that students could choose to join. For example, there was an activity that enhanced knowledge in considering civil cases by Ajarn Thongtharn Luangruangrong. There was an activity to promote law knowledge about bankruptcy by Ajarn Uan Khunkaew. I attended the activity during my fourth year and found it very useful for the Barrister-at-law examination. There are many lecturers and administrators of the Faculty who were always available for students to consult. The other important thing is the inspiration that I obtained from upperclass students who already graduated but still bring reputation to the Faculty and are good role models for younger students.”

Nakarin then added about the test for younger students:

“To me, efficient law learning is regular revision of the lessons, which is the important basis for undergraduate learning. It builds up the foundation of law knowledge that can be extended at a higher level. If younger students prepare themselves well at the undergraduate level, examinations for certification at different places will not be too hard. Another thing is to set the goal, realizing why we are learning law, what occupation we want to hold and then plan our studies both for short and long periods of time so that our daily living will be in accordance with the plan set and lead us to the goal as expected. However, this should not be done under too much tension. There should be time arranged for relaxation, for taking care of yourselves, and for spending time with friends and family, too.”
