On May 13, 2021, Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University (KKU) together with Assoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-aswapati Charoen, Vice President for International Affairs, Asst. Prof. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, and representatives from the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Dentistry, participated in the virtual conference entitled “KKU-MEEI-MGH Virtual Head and Neck Tumor Board”
KKU has organized this conference with renowned lecturers and medical staff from the Massachusetts Eye and Ear (MEEI) and Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), Harvard Medical School, USA. There were more than 100 participants from KKU and MGH/MEEI joining this event. The conference was aimed to develop academic collaboration on patient care and to exchange knowledge and professional experiences on the head and neck tumors. The TeleHealth system of MGH was used for patient’s data management and the case presentation. This conference was a great success and it supported the further development and promotion of KKU as the regional Medical Hub.
