Khon Kaen University (KKU) has reaffirmed its national leadership in Computer Science after its Computer Science Programme ranked No. 1 in Thailand for research quality for the third consecutive year, according to the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject 2026.

In addition, Khon Kaen University’s Computer Science Programme was ranked in the global 801–1000 band, placing 5th overall in Thailand and 1st in the Northeastern region.
