KHON KAEN, Thailand – On 5 January 2025, the Faculty of Engineering at Khon Kaen University, led by Associate Professor Ratchaphon Suntivarakorn, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty, extended a warm welcome to a delegation of executives and personnel from the Multidisciplinary Research Institute (MDRI) of Chiang Mai University. The visiting party was led by Professor Emeritus Sanchai Jaturasitha, Ph.D., Director; Professor Peerapong Jitsangiam, Ph.D., Deputy Director for Research; and Mrs. Kornchawan Kantha, Secretary of the Institute, along with various department heads and staff members.

The purpose of the visit was to undertake a comprehensive study of the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx) framework in preparation for the 2026 fiscal year. This academic exchange underscores the Faculty of Engineering’s strong commitment to quality assurance and reinforces its role as a regional benchmark for sustainable institutional development.
