The Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University (Khon Kaen Business School: KKBS), extends its congratulations to students in the Tourism Innovation Management program for winning awards in the international academic skills competition under the project “The 5th ASEAN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT COMPETITION 2025.” The competition was held in Manila, Philippines.

The competition was jointly organised through collaboration among leading higher education institutions from five ASEAN countries: Khon Kaen Business School, Khon Kaen University (Thailand); Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang (Indonesia); Universiti Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia); Polytechnic University of the Philippines (Philippines); and Thai Nguyen University of Economics & Business Administration (Vietnam). Its objective was to foster the potential of ASEAN youth through knowledge exchange and the development of international-level academic skills.
Held under the theme “Innovate for Impact: Youth Solutions for a Resilient and Inclusive ASEAN 2025,” the competition encouraged students to integrate multidisciplinary knowledge into creative, practice-oriented solutions, while fostering regional academic networks in the field of business administration.

As a co-host, the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University sent students to compete in the Poster Competition and Essay Competition. Under the guidance of their advisor, Chichaya Leruksa, Ph.D., Assistant Dean for International Affairs and Lecturer in tourism, the students succeeded in securing two awards:

First Runner-up Award (Essay: 1st Runner-up)
For the project titled “Kylie and Kendall” under the concept of “Equity in Education through Digital Access.”
Presented by 3rd-year students from the Tourism Innovation Management program (English Section). The team members include:
1) Ms. Oranart Kamart
2) Mr. Punyawat Nuto

Second Runner-up Award (Poster: 2nd Runner-up)
For the project by “Sakura Team” under the concept of “Smart Living, Lasting Future.”
Presented by 3rd-year students from the Tourism Innovation Management program. The team members include:
1) Ms. Nattirat Lunubon
2) Ms. Pakraporn Kuanpatchang
These achievements reflect the strong potential of KKBS students in applying academic knowledge to international contexts. They also underscore the Faculty’s commitment to integrated learning, global exposure, and the development of graduates equipped with international competencies, aligned with the demands of a rapidly evolving ASEAN and global economy.
