The College of Computing at Khon Kaen University has unveiled a new Bachelor of Science program in Information Technology and Intelligent Innovation (ITII). The curriculum, updated for 2026, is an evolution of the university’s existing Information Technology degree and is designed to address the rapid growth of intelligent systems and artificial intelligence (AI) in the digital era.
The program’s core concept shifts from merely applying technology to actively creating and advancing valuable innovations. It aims to produce graduates who can integrate information technology knowledge with creativity, preparing them to be competitive in the industry and to make a positive impact on society.
According to the college, the ITII program features a new direction with more intensive, multi-dimensional content and a strong emphasis on hands-on, practical learning. The curriculum is built to equip students with the skills needed to develop innovations that solve real-world problems and capitalize on future opportunities.
The program’s guiding principle is summarized as, “Because the world doesn’t stop at just using technology, but must create innovation with technology.”
