The Technology Clinic at Khon Kaen University’s Nong Khai Campus has been recognized with a regional “Outstanding Performance” award for 2025. The honor was presented by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI).
The award acknowledges the clinic’s success in activities promoting the use of science, technology, and innovation to enhance community-level production and economic potential. The official ceremony took place on August 15, 2025, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, as part of the “Science Research and Innovation (SRI) NETWORK TOWNHALL” event.
The selection was made by a committee of experts who evaluated the performance of various university-based technology clinics in the region. The KKU Nong Khai Campus was singled out for its distinguished work in applying scientific and technological knowledge to create tangible improvements in local community economies.
This achievement highlights the commitment of the Technology Clinic, which operates under the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, to serve as a vital link between higher education and local communities. The clinic focuses on transferring appropriate technologies and innovations to meet community needs, aiming to create a sustainable and positive socio-economic impact.
