KKU Faculty of Dentistry Fosters Learning Culture Through ‘Happy Workplace’ Series

KHON KAEN – The Faculty of Dentistry at Khon Kaen University is advancing its initiative to cultivate a sustainable learning organization with the second installment of its “Dao Dent Den” event series, part of the faculty’s 2025 Knowledge Management project.

The latest session, held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, was themed “Creating Happiness at Work for Support Staff.” The event aimed to foster a positive, cooperative, and understanding work environment by encouraging the sharing of best practices and valuable work culture between generations of staff.

Three experienced staff members were featured as guest speakers, each sharing their insights on creating a fulfilling workplace:

  • Ms. Kitiporn Chaiyokul discussed creating positive energy through organizational management.
  • Ms. Pratumma Tadang spoke on balancing team success with happiness in administrative roles.
  • Ms. Yuwadee Upanan presented on strategic approaches to ensure work is goal-oriented and stable.

In his opening remarks, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pithiwat Eosuwan, Assistant Dean for Strategy, explained that the event is part of a broader organizational development plan. The goal is to promote a culture of knowledge exchange, institutionalize best practices, and ensure that practical wisdom is passed down to foster continuous improvement and a strong, enduring organizational culture.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anoma Ratanajaroentham, Vice Dean for Administration, concluded the session by thanking the speakers. She noted that the shared learning process sparks new ideas that can be developed into systemic improvements, enhancing the faculty’s overall operational quality.

This event was the second in the series, following the first episode on July 30, which focused on academic staff with the theme “Happy Teaching, Creative Research, and Joyful Learning.” The faculty’s commitment is to create a shared learning space that strengthens understanding between academic and support personnel.

The “Dao Dent Den” series will continue with three more events scheduled for the Dean’s Office staff on August 13, the Dental Hospital staff on August 20, and a special session for retiring personnel on September 3.

“An organization can only progress when we all work together to create small moments of happiness each day.

When our hearts are happy, all of our work becomes valuable.”
