Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Khon Kaen University, Collaborates with National Taiwan University to Advance International Biosensor Research
The Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences has established collaboration in the development of biosensors, focusing on both education and research, with experts from the Department of Biomechatronics Engineering, National Taiwan University (NTU), Taiwan, during May 5–6, 2025.

The team an in-depth discussion and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Professor Chien-Yu Chen, Chair of the Department of Biomechatronics Engineering, National Taiwan University.
The aim of this collaboration is to promote the development of innovative biosensors for medical applications. In addition, the faculty has sent five third-year Medical Technology students to participate in an internship and exchange program, focusing on research and laboratory practices relating to biosensors at National Taiwan University from May 5–16, 2025. The program is supervised by Professor Yen-Wen Lu, an expert in microfluidics, DNA sensors, and soft robotics. The students joined academic exchanges and hands-on practice in leading laboratories to enhance their international research skills.
🌍 This collaboration marks a significant step in raising the academic quality of the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Khon Kaen University, to an international level and prepares Thai students to become future leaders in biomedical technology.
