COLA KKU Invites Abstract Submissions for the Second International Conference on Public Affairs (ICPA 2026)

The conference will address the theme “Public Service Reform in the Age of Global Power Shifts” and feature world-renowned keynote speakers.

The College of Local Administration (COLA) of Khon Kaen University (KKU) cordially invites academics, researchers, public affairs practitioners, policymakers, students, and interested individuals worldwide to submit abstracts for the Second International Conference on Public Affairs (ICPA 2026). The conference will be held from 19–20 November 2026 in Khon Kaen, Thailand.

Under the central theme, “Public Service Reform in the Age of Global Power Shifts,” ICPA 2026 aims to provide a dynamic platform for exchanging knowledge in public affairs, public administration, and public policy. The event will explore these fields within the context of a rapidly changing world, marked by shifts in geopolitics, digital technology, and artificial intelligence (AI). This aligns with the College of Local Administration’s vision to be “a leading ASEAN institution for public affairs that creates value for society.”

The conference is honoured to feature keynote addresses from distinguished global scholars, including Professor Dr. Stephen P. Osborne from the University of Edinburgh Business School and Professor Dr. Alfred Tat-Kei Ho from City University of Hong Kong.

Conference topics cover a wide range of sub-themes, including public service reform, good governance, public policy, digital government and AI, local government, public finance, ethics and leadership, crisis management, and comparative public administration. Abstract submissions are welcome in both Thai and English.
