On Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 7:00 a.m., at the Great Stupa of the City Core Memorial, Wat Nong Waeng, Royal Temple, Mueang District, Khon Kaen Province. Mr. Khajornkiat Rakpanichmanee, the Governor of Khon Kaen Province, presided over a merit-making ceremony to honor the occasion of the birthday anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, the Princess Royal of Thailand. The ceremony was attended by senior government officials, heads of government agencies, and citizens from all walks of life, who gathered in unison to pay their respects.
In this regard, Khon Kaen University, led by Mr. Chumporn Para, Director of the Office of Corporate Communications, acting on behalf of the President of Khon Kaen University, along with staff from the Office of Corporate Communications, participated in the religious ceremony and merit-making almsgiving to express loyalty and deep gratitude for the boundless royal grace bestowed upon the Thai people and the people of Khon Kaen Province.
