The initiative aimed to engage prospective students at Ubon Ratchathani University and Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University, showcasing graduate study opportunities and world-class research programmes.
15 March 2026 – The Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University, led by Associate Professor Sujeeporn Athibai, Ph.D., Assistant Dean for Education and Academic Services, and Associate Professor Wuttichai Srisodapol, Ph.D., Assistant Dean for Administration, organised a Graduate Studies Roadshow in Ubon Ratchathani Province from 4–5 March 2026.
The delegation, which included faculty members, programme representatives, and administrative staff, visited Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University and Ubon Ratchathani University to promote postgraduate education opportunities and encourage students to pursue advanced research in science and technology.
This roadshow was designed as a proactive outreach initiative, offering more than just information by creating an interactive learning experience for prospective students. Key activities included:
- Deep Dive Information Sessions: Faculty representatives from the fields of Integrated Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics-Materials Science and Nanotechnology, and Statistics and Data Science presented the distinctive features of their respective graduate programmes, providing in-depth information tailored to the interests of students.
- One-Stop Admissions Service: The team provided comprehensive guidance on application channels and procedures, ensuring a clear and straightforward pathway for prospective students wishing to enrol at Khon Kaen University.
- Interactive Q&A Session: An open forum allowed students to engage directly with programme lecturers. The session was complemented by souvenir giveaways, fostering a friendly and engaging atmosphere.
The successful execution of this roadshow reflects the Faculty of Science’s vision to be a leader in advanced science and technology education. It also underscores the faculty’s commitment to building sustainable collaborative networks to further enhance education and research throughout the northeastern region of Thailand.
