Students from KKBS have achieved recognition at the 34th J-MAT Award marketing plan competition.

The Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University (KKBS), congratulates the Hihaa Herbha’s team for winning the Regional Marketing Plan Award (4 regions plus Bangkok Metropolitan Area) at the 34th J-MAT Award competition. The team received a 10,000-baht scholarship and a certificate for their marketing plan under the theme “Packaging Speak Out: The Power of Premium Herbs.” The awards were announced on 15 November 2025

The competition was organised by the Marketing Association of Thailand (MAT) through its Junior Marketing Association of Thailand (J-MAT) club, in collaboration with SCG Packaging Public Company Limited (SCGP) as main sponsor, and the Hi-Herb brand under Lion (Thailand) Co., Ltd.. Teams competed for the Royal Trophy bestowed by Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

This competition was mentored by Narissara Palusuk, Ph.D., with the Hihaa Herbha’s team members comprising:

The J-MAT Award marketing plan competition has been a continuous national marketing competition since 1991. Its objective is to provide an opportunity for university students to apply their marketing knowledge to real business situations. This year, 4,195 students from 52 educational institutions, forming a total of 427 teams, expressed interest in participating.

The success of the Hihaa Herbha’s team reflects the potential of the students, the integration of knowledge, and the quality of teaching at the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, which aims to produce graduates who are prepared for real-world employment and can compete effectively at both national and international levels.
