Khon Kaen University Academics Win Best Presentation Award at Indonesia Conference

BALI, INDONESIA – Two academics from Khon Kaen University’s Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies have received a “Best Presentation Award” for their research paper at the International Conference on Management and Social Sciences Research 2025 (IICMSSR).

On August 21, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanet Wattanakul and Mr. Prachya Muenapai presented their research at the conference, held at the Aston Denpasar Hotel and Convention Center. Their paper was selected as one of the top 30 presentations at the event, which serves as a global platform for scholars and researchers to exchange knowledge in management and social sciences.

Dr. Thanet is the Head of the Social Sciences Department and Chairman of the Master of Economics program in International Economics and Tourism. Mr. Prachya is a lecturer in the Bachelor of Economics program focusing on International Economics, Innovation, and Sustainability.

The award recognizes the international quality of the research, highlighting the significance of its subject matter, its content, and the excellence of its delivery.

This achievement brings international recognition to both the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies and Khon Kaen University. It also underscores the faculty’s commitment to producing high-quality research that contributes to academic knowledge and sustainable benefits for society.
