The Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University, extends its congratulations to Assistant Professor Dr. Jesada Sottipinda, a lecturer in Applied Science, for being selected as one of the representatives from seven Thai universities to receive the “Scientist Invitation Program to Korea 2025” grant from the Republic of Korea’s government. This achievement highlights the strength and international competitiveness of Khon Kaen University’s research personnel.
The grant is supported by INITHiNK, an R&D consulting firm backed by Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT and the National Research Foundation of Korea. Dr. Jesada’s research in the field of energy storage chemistry was selected—an area crucial for the development of future clean-energy technologies.
The Scientist Invitation Program to Korea invites high-potential scientists from the Asia-Pacific region to participate in advanced academic and practical training at leading government research institutes in South Korea for up to 90 days. The program aims to enhance participants’ research capabilities, foster strong collaborative networks between Thailand and Korea, and enable hands-on knowledge and technology exchange in state-of-the-art laboratories.
