KKU Dentistry PhD Student Honored with “Very Good Poster Award” at International Conference in Shanghai

Dr. Pramot Lappichetpaiboon, a Ph.D. candidate in Oral Science at the Faculty of Dentistry, Khon Kaen University, was awarded the “Very Good Poster Award” at the 19th International Photodynamic Association Biannual Meeting. The prestigious event was held at the International Convention Center in Shanghai, China, from June 10 to 16, 2025.

Dr. Pramot presented his research entitled “Anticandidal effects of bisdemethoxycurcumin and melatonin with dual light emitting diode in photodynamic therapy.” His work was conducted under the supervision of Professor Dr. Teerasak Damrongrungruang of the Department of Oral Diagnosis.

The conference gathered leading researchers, clinicians, and scientists from around the world, with over 300 poster presentations showcased. Dr. Pramot’s recognition at this international forum highlights the quality of research and the strong academic foundation provided by Khon Kaen University’s Faculty of Dentistry.
