The Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, would like to congratulate the student representatives of the faculty under the name of the team “Sirimongkol” consisting of 5 members: Mr. Wisarut Hangli, Mr. Saharat Wanna, Ms. Nitida Khephandung, Ms. Nichapa Singhsri, and Ms. Arisa Phisitpornpitikul, 3rd year students of the Bachelor of Business Administration Program, Major in Marketing, for winning the 2nd runner-up award in the 10th “Path to Innovation” project competition, national round, organized by the Division of Promotion and Coordination for Science, Research and Innovation (DPI), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, in collaboration with the Southern Science Park, during February 18-19, 2023 at Crystal Hotel, Hat Yai, Songkhla Province. The “Path to Innovation” project was organized to promote and push for the use of research results and innovations from universities or research and development agencies for commercial utilization, using the mechanisms and services of the regional science parks. In this national championship, the Sirimongkol team brought their research on Carbohydrate Polymers Materials.

The Khon Kaen University Science Park, the parent institution operating the Northeastern Science Park, organized the “Northeastern Innovation Path (Mini Research to Market by NESP) 2022” contest on 9–10 September 2022. Dr. Apirat Wongsriworaphon, Director of the Khon Kaen University Science Park, presided over the welcoming and opening ceremony. On October 9-10, 2020, Khon Kaen University Science Park, led by Ms. Rungtip Sarawong, Deputy Director, Ms. Dutsadeerat Chumchatri, Assistant Manager of Promotion Division, Innovation Business Development Division, and the team, led Khon Kaen University student representatives to participate in the 8th Research to Market (R2M) regional competition organized by Technopolis, Suranaree University of Technology. The participants were educational institutions in the Northeastern network, as follows: Khon Kaen University (5 teams), Mahasarakham University (5 teams), Ubon Ratchathani University (5 teams), and Suranaree University of Technology (5 teams), totaling 20 teams, at Sura Sammakorn Hall, Suranaree University of Technology. On July 25, 2020, Khon Kaen University Science Park organized the 8th Research to Market competition for the university level. In the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, presided over the opening ceremony and presented awards to the winning team. Professor Thidarat Boonmas, Vice President for Innovation and Enterprise, gave a welcome speech and reported on the objectives of the event and presented awards to the 1st runner-up team. Dr. Apirat Wongsriworapol, Director of Khon Kaen University Science Park, also joined in honoring and presenting awards to the 2nd runner-up team.
