KKBS students win awards at the 33rd J-MAT Award Marketing Plan Competition

Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University would like to congratulate Maxsmile student team for winning the Regional Marketing Plan Award and making it into the top 50 national teams of the 33rd J-mat Award Project under the topic of “Improving CONFIDENT SMILE with Dry Brushing Innovation”. They received a 10,000-baht scholarship and a certificate under the supervision of their advisor, Dr. Narisara Palusuk. The team consists of: Bachelor of Business Administration students, majoring in Digital Entrepreneurship (DE), Mr. Jirapat Kulchanarong, Mr. Chonlakorn Ruangwachirapan, Miss Jiradaphorn Thongkhamwan; Bachelor of Business Administration students, majoring in Marketing Technology (MKT), Miss Kanokporn Sittichai, Mr. Phumipat Buasomsri, Mr. Akkachai Chatchawan, Miss Bowonluck Phonnok, and Miss Warisara Krajangsaeng; Bachelor of Accountancy (ACC) students, Mr. Kittisak Tangwattanasuwan. For the 33rd J-mat Award project, it is a youth marketing plan competition project of the Marketing Association of Thailand (MAT) by the Youth Member Club of the Marketing Association of Thailand (J-MAT).

KKBS joins hands with Business Studies, Bangladesh University of Professionals, Bangladesh, to push education and research to international level.

On January 22, 2025, the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University organized the signing ceremony of the academic cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Business Studies, Bangladesh University of Professionals, Bangladesh. The event was held at Naphapailin Room, 4th floor, BS.01 Building. The executives of both agencies signed the academic cooperation agreement, including Assistant Professor Dr. Phongsutthi Phuensaen, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Dr. Chichanya Lehraksa, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, representing Khon Kaen University, along with Lieutenant Colonel SM Zobaer Alam, psc, Associate Professor Chairman, and Assistant Professor SM Sayem, Department of Business Administration-General, Faculty of Business Studies, Bangladesh University of Professionals, Bangladesh.

KKBS joins the Train The Trainer workshop “Master Thai Chef Program” to strengthen Thai food soft power.

Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, led by Dr. Phongsaphan Satthathip, Deputy Dean for Industrial Relations and Sustainability, along with Ms. Atiya Trappokpoon, Laboratory Staff, Ms. Phanthila Hiranno, Educational Specialist, and Ms. Nantaporn Khamsontha, General Affairs Manager, Expert, participated in the workshop to become a teacher (Train The Trainer) under the project "One Village, One Professional Thai Chef (Master Thai Chef Program)", which was held from January 6-10, 2025 at the Grand Ballroom, 3rd floor, Thai Food Learning Center Building, Food Institute, Bangkok, Ministry of Industry. This project is supported by the National Soft Power Strategy Committee, with the Office of Creative Culture Promotion or Thailand Creative Content Agency (THACCA) as the promoter of the One Family One Soft Power (OFOS) policy in food, a total of 23 courses, to enhance knowledge and skills for teachers in the professional Thai chef course and to enhance the ability to work in Thai food for personnel and interested persons. KKBS students make an international name, winning 6 awards at The 4th ASEAN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT COMPETITION 2024

Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University would like to congratulate students of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy on winning awards from the “4th ASEAN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT COMPETITION 2024” competition. This is an international student competition under the academic collaboration between 5 higher education institutions from 5 countries in the Southeast Asian region, namely, Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang, Indonesia, Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Polytechnic University of The Philippines, Philippines, and Thai Nguyen University of Economics & Business Administration, Vietnam. This is the 4th competition hosted by Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang, which was held on December 4-5, 2024 in Indonesia. Unstoppable! KKBS students win BRONZE STAR AWARD from SCGP PACKAGING SPEAK OUT 2024, the best new-generation designers and marketers

Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University would like to congratulate the GRAND the one and only team, Bachelor of Business Administration, Major in Digital Entrepreneurship, who received the BRONZE STAR AWARD and 20,000 baht in prize money from the 9th SCGP Packaging Speak Out 2024 project for outstanding designers and new generation marketers on November 2, 2024 at SCB NEXT TECH, 4th floor, Siam Paragon. Their work is “Chaloem”, a cream hair color product for covering gray hair. The packaging can be used as a container for mixing hair dye. The team members are: 1. Ms. Ratchadaporn Kamolchuang, 2. Ms. Wichithra Bannarak, 3. Ms. Pawina Jansawang. In addition, the competition of this project also had Bachelor of Business Administration, Major in Marketing, team “Nuu Kid Mai Ok A”, which made it to the final round with their work “BABY FUN”, a baby shower cream packaging that not only helps clean but is also designed to enhance children’s brain development and imagination.

Too cool to resist! KKBS students win 4 tourism awards at the 10th Tourism and Hotel Management Fair 2024

The Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, would like to congratulate students of the Tourism Innovation Management program on winning 4 awards from the 10th Tourism and Hotel Management Fair 2024, which will be held on December 6, 2024 at the Chalermprakiat Building on the occasion of Her Majesty the Queen's 5th Cycle Birthday Anniversary, April 2, 2015, Mahasarakham University. The event was co-hosted by 12 institutions: Roi Et Rajabhat University, Ubon Ratchathani University, Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University, Mahasarakham Rajabhat University, Kalasin University, Nakhon Phanom University, Khon Kaen University, Suvarnabhumi Rajabhat University, Srivijaya Rajabhat University, Kasetsart University, Sakon Nakhon Campus, Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University, and Mahasarakham University. The Tourism and Hotel Management Academic and Professional Skills Competition is designed to develop skills and enhance students' potential, integrating their knowledge and applying it to their work creation and real-world work. KKBS is preparing to host INCBAA 2026, connecting technology to sustainability, bringing together 4 TRBS NET network institutions to promote international business administration education and research.

During November 21-23, 2024, Assistant Professor Dr. Phongsutthi Phuensaen, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University (KKBS), presented the implementation plan for the national and international academic conference on business administration and accounting, or The International and National Conference on Business Administration and Accountancy (INCBAA), at the 2nd Thailand Regional Business School Network (TRBS NET) 2024 meeting at the Chalermprakiat Building, Faculty of Business Administration, Burapha University.
