KKU-MOE invite everyone to join the “Walk, Run in Honor of His Majesty” 5.9 kilometers distance, meet on August 4th.

On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, the Sports Division, Office of the President, Khon Kaen University, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, would like to invite personnel, students, alumni of Khon Kaen University, and the general public to join the 5.9-kilometer walk and run in the “Walk, Run, Cycle in Honor of His Majesty the King on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on July 28, 2024.” The Walk, Run, Cycle in Honor of His Majesty will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2024 from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in front of the Khon Kaen University Kanchanaphisek Multipurpose Convention Center. KKU points out that the new graduates' output is increasing in quantity and high quality, accelerating to meet the demands of the global workforce, in line with the policies of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.

On February 15, 2022 at 08:30, Khon Kaen University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Chanchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University (KKU), along with the university's executives, welcomed Dr. Danuch Tantheodtit, Assistant Minister to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), Professor Dr. Samphan Rittidech, Secretary-General of the Higher Education Commission, Associate Professor Dr. Bandit Tipakorn, Chairman of the Ad Hoc Subcommittee for the Administration of the New Generation Graduates Project, at the Progress Monitoring Project "New Generation Graduates Project, Khon Kaen University" at Room 4A1-3 Smart Classroom, 4th Floor, Rattanaphithaya Building, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University, with more than 50 lecturers attending the event under strict disease prevention measures. KKU Science Park adjusts strategy to fight COVID, focusing on supporting the economy of the Northeast, combining innovations in safety

'New Normal' is a new definition that everyone knows and is familiar with in the past 7 months. We all know that all over the world has been facing the spread of the Coronavirus 2019 (Covid-19), which has had both direct and indirect impacts on all sectors, especially the people's livelihoods and the adjustment to a new way of life. While the outbreak situation has begun to improve in some countries, we still cannot be complacent. Regarding the situation in Thailand, after the government announced the easing measures in Phase 5, allowing more places, businesses, and activities to open, including allowing some people from abroad to travel into the Kingdom, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) has an important mission in developing the country to move towards stability, prosperity, and sustainability, especially stimulating the grassroots economy through the mechanism of the Khon Kaen University Science Park. Under the Office of the Secretariat of the Science Park Promotion Committee (SEP), measures have been issued to assist entrepreneurs affected by the COVID-19 situation (effective from March - 30 September 2020) as follows: 1) Reduction of membership fees for the Northeast Science Park Administration Building 60% of membership fees for each area 2) Reduction of food composition analysis service fees (Food Analysis Laboratory) and pilot plant service fees for processing agricultural products and food products (Food Pilot Plant) 50 % 3) Reduction of meeting room space service fees 60%

Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation visits KKU Science Park to monitor operations amid COVID-19 pandemic

On July 1, 2020, Khon Kaen University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thidarat Boonmas, Vice President for Innovation and Enterprise, together with Dr. Apirat Wongsriworapol, Director of Science Park, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wanida Kaena-Akat, Director of Library Office, executives and personnel of the Science Park welcomed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Soranit Siltham, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), on a visit to monitor the operations of the Northeast Science Park (Khon Kaen Province) amid the spread of the coronavirus or COVID-19 at the Board Room, Northeast Science Park Administration Building (Khon Kaen Province). Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thidarat Boonmas, Vice President for Innovation and Enterprise, presented the topic “Development of the Northeast Science Park (Khon Kaen Province)”.
