High Speed Train Engineering Program

สำนักข่าว : krajaikao URL :  https://kku.world/2sspm วันที่เผยแพร่ : 7 มีนาคม 2564 รศ.นพ.ชาญชัย พานทองวิริยะกุล อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น  พร้อมคณะผู้บริหาร ให้การต้อนรับ  นายเลี่ยว จวิ้น หวิน (Mr.Liao Junyun) กงสุลใหญ่แห่งสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ประจำจังหวัดขอนแก่น และคณะ ซึ่งเข้าร่วมประชุมโครงการ High-speed Train ร่วมมือกับต่างประเทศ  เพื่อติดตามความคืบหน้าในความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศในการเปิดการเรียนการสอนหลักสูตรใหม่ “วิศวกรรมรถไฟความเร็วสูง” (High Speed Train Engineering)   ณ ห้องสิริคุณากร 5 ชั้น 6 อาคารสิริคุณากร สำนักงานอธิการบดี  มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น  ทั้งนี้ ได้มีการเจรจาเบื้องต้นในความร่วมมือกับมหาวิทยาลัย Southwest Jiaotong ซึ่งเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำของประเทศสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ในการเป็นต้นแบบหลักสูตรดังกล่าว รศ.นพ.ชาญชัย พานทองวิริยะกุล  ได้กล่าวถึงความเป็นมาของหลักสูตร วิศวกรรมรถไฟความเร็วสูง ว่า  “ประเทศไทยมีโครงการรถไฟฟ้าความเร็วสูงเส้นทางกรุงเทพ-หนองคาย ถือเป็นเมกะโปรเจคเพื่อช่วยสร้างความเข้มแข็งให้กับเศรษฐกิจของประเทศไทย ซึ่งเป็นความร่วมมือที่เกิดรัฐบาลไทย และรัฐบาลประเทศสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน สามารถเชื่อมโยงไทยไปสู่อาเซียนและต่อไปถึงประเทศสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีนได้  ทั้งนี้ได้ทำการก่อสร้างระยะที่ 1 คือ

Furthermore, preliminary negotiations on cooperation with Southwest Jiaotong University, a leading university in the People’s Republic of China, have taken place. As a prototype for the curriculum, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Panthongviriyakul mentioned the background of the high-speed rail engineering curriculum, saying, “Thailand has a high-speed rail project on the Bangkok-Nong Khai route, which is considered a mega-project to help strengthen Thailand’s economy. This is a collaboration between the Thai government and the government of the People’s Republic of China.
