The Office of the Permanent Secretary for Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (O.M.S.R.) has announced that the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, has passed the evaluation of 300 points for the project to apply the quality criteria for excellent performance in internal education quality assurance, batch 5, 2022, by the Subcommittee on Educational Quality Development and Enhancement to Excellence meeting No. 5/2022. It is the first faculty in the group of faculties of humanities and social sciences, business administration major in Thailand to pass the said quality criteria. Associate Professor Dr. Pensri Charoenwanich said that EdPEx stands for “Education Criteria for Performance Excellence” or “Education Quality Criteria for Excellent Performance”. It is a framework for developing management quality in line with the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award: MBNQA criteria, which is the prototype of the Thailand Quality Award (TQA). The EdPEx criteria are a framework that allows us to view, think, and manage an organization in a systematic way (viewing all systems as interconnected) and helps to create rapid and sustainable development. From the main focus and the firm determination of the Faculty to create and develop new-generation business administrators, accountants, and entrepreneurs with quality for the labor market at all levels, including producing research works and academic services that are valuable and beneficial to society, “The Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy has continuously assessed the quality of education both internally at the curriculum level and faculty level. There is training to provide knowledge on education quality assurance for personnel and lecturers.
