On Friday, October 20, 2023, the Faculty of Dentistry, Khon Kaen University organized activities for the annual Dental Health Day, Faculty of Dentistry, 2023 at the Dental Hospital, Faculty of Dentistry, Khon Kaen University. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anoma Ratanacharoentham, Deputy Dean for Administration, reported that October 21 of every year is National Dental Health Day and the Faculty of Dentistry, Khon Kaen University has organized the Dental Health Day annually. This year's event included an exhibition to honor Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra or the Queen Mother, the Mother of Thai Traditional Medicine, an exhibition board on dental health education to promote and prevent oral health, and free dental services for students, students, and the general public. It is expected that this year's event participants will receive services and knowledge about dentistry for good oral health in the future. Meanwhile, Asst. Prof. Dr. Achirawut Suphanphet, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Khon Kaen University, said that Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra or the Queen Mother Her Majesty, the Mother of Thai Traditional Medicine, is very interested in the health of the Thai people, especially oral diseases, which are chronic diseases that undermine the health of the people. The Faculty of Dentistry has organized the Dental Health Day activity, hoping that the public will be able to access dental services and for everyone to see the importance of oral health that leads to physical well-being. “If there is an oral health check-up at least every 6 months, it will help everyone have good oral health. If any disease is found, it can be treated promptly before the symptoms become severe. Therefore, receiving dental services is very important.
