Best work of the year: The Pong Lang Sin Sai Ensemble, Faculty of Fine Arts, Khon Kaen University, won the championship for 3 consecutive years in the Pong Lang Folk Music Contest under the Royal Trophy of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother at the 2023 Isan Local Wisdom and Recreation Festival. On Friday 4 August 2023, the Department of Physical Education, Ministry of Tourism and Sports organized the Pong Lang Folk Music Contest under the Royal Trophy of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother under the Project to Promote and Develop Recreational Activities in Children and Youth for the 2023 fiscal year at Udon Thani Hall, 4th floor, CentralPlaza Udon Thani, Mueang District, Udon Thani Province, from 4-6 August 2023. Mr. Aran Boonchai, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, presided over the opening ceremony. On the first day of the competition in the under-25 age group, 5 bands passed the qualifying round, including: Phet Phlaanchai Isan Folk Music Band Roi Et Province, Isan Art Band, Maha Sarakham University, Maha Sarakham Province, Pong Lang Arkhahatsi Band, Maha Sarakham Province, Pong Lang Phaka Lamduan Band, Sisaket Province and
