     On Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the 50th Anniversary Sports Stadium, Khon Kaen University Student Organization organized a welcoming activity for new students for the academic year 2024 under the project of uniting love for new Kalapruek flowers, continuing the bonds of faith in Modin Daeng. The event was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Chanchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, who presided over the ceremony along with executives and distinguished guests, among 4,500 freshmen and seniors who joined the event. The ceremony began with the president, executives, and distinguished guests lining up and walking up to the center stage to enter the project opening ceremony. Then there was a performance of the university's anthem, followed by a procession of the student organization and student clubs. New students walked down to the football field, a procession carrying the Kalapruek flowers into the ceremony area, and a performance of the Rom Phak Kan set by students of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts.
