The project to drive joint work to create livable local communities under the community health plan has now reached a decade under the support of the Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth), Community Health Promotion Bureau (Office 3) in collaboration with partner networks. Most recently, the Community Health Systems Research and Development Center (CDC), Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University, organized a forum for the best local community leaders on the agenda of a decade of working together to create livable local communities in the central region. The event was attended by Mrs. Prapassri Boonwiset, Chairwoman of the Community Health Plan Steering Committee, Central Region, Mr. Somporn Usibangyang, Chairman of the Network for Building Livable Local Communities, Plan Executive Committee, and qualified persons. Academic Support Center for Network Management (ASCO) and 92 local administrative organizations attended, totaling more than 600 people, at the Miracle Hotel. Ms. Duangporn Hengbunyaphan, Senior Assistant Manager of the Health Promotion Fund, ThaiHealth, and Acting Director of the Community Health Promotion Office (Office 3), said that over the past 10 years, ThaiHealth and its networks have worked together to create livable local communities.
