Monday, January 27, 2025, 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Assoc. Prof. Natthasom Thanakulrangsri, Vice President for Legal Affairs and Corporate Communications, chaired the blood donation activity organized by the Legal Affairs and Corporate Communications Division and the Corporate Communications Division in collaboration with the Central Blood Bank, Faculty of Medicine. The 7th Medical Science Center jointly organized a free cervical cancer screening activity, and 65 executives, personnel, students, and members of the general public joined the blood donation activity. Of these, 58 were able to donate blood, while 7 failed the criteria, resulting in a blood volume of 23,200 cc., at the lobby on the 1st floor of the Sirikunakorn Building, Office of the President, Khon Kaen University. KKU raises the level of the 2025 Northeastern Agricultural Day to an international level, organizing training for Thai and international students in public relations.

The Faculty of Agriculture, Khon Kaen University, organized a workshop on public relations over the radio to prepare Thai and international students in bilingual communication to support hundreds of thousands of visitors for the 2025 Northeastern Agricultural Day. Assistant Professor Dr. Yadrung Mawongwai, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Corporate Communications, Faculty of Agriculture, revealed that the faculty organized a workshop for 20 students working in public relations over the radio on January 14, 2025 at the Faculty of Agriculture. Ms. Benjamaporn Mamuk, a public relations specialist from the Corporate Communications Division, was honored to be a speaker for this workshop to develop comprehensive communication and public relations skills, including how to handle immediate situations to prepare for actual work in providing information, news, knowledge, and urgent announcements. An important highlight of this training is that international students from Indonesia also participated in the workshop to support public relations in English, as each year there are many international tourists visiting the event. When English is added, it will help international tourists understand what is being advertised and will also help add color to the event to be more diverse, reflecting the elevation of the Agricultural Day. On Friday, August 2, 2024, the Corporate Communications Division, Khon Kaen University, organized the 2024 Personnel Development Project of the Office of the President, honored by Asst. Prof. Natsamol Thanakulrangsrit, Vice President for Legal Affairs and Corporate Communications, as the project chairman, and Mr. Chumporn Para, Director of the Corporate Communications Division, Khon Kaen University, leading the Corporate Communications Division staff team to join the event at Orra Café, Khon Kaen Province. Mr. Chumporn Para, Director of the Corporate Communications Division, Khon Kaen University, reported that in the past, the Corporate Communications Division aimed to enhance the good image of Khon Kaen University and reflect the academic work of Khon Kaen University to lead society and build credibility and confidence in the community and society. KKU organizes "Give Blood = Give Life". Donate blood every 3 months at the President's Building.

On Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 08.30 to 14.00, the Special Affairs Division, Khon Kaen University, led by Assistant Professor Natthasamorn Thanakulrangsri, Assistant to the President for Special Affairs and the Corporate Communications Division, together with the Central Blood Bank, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, organized a mobile blood donation unit on the 1st floor of the Sirikunakorn Building, Office of the President, Khon Kaen University. On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Awat Yimtae, Vice President for Structure, Assoc. Prof. Piansak Phakdi, Vice President for Student Development and Alumni Relations, along with executives, personnel from various departments, students, military officers from Siharat Dechochai Camp, and the general public joined in donating blood, a total of 43 people, divided into 3 new blood donors, 4 foreign donors, and 12 blood donors who did not pass the blood test. The total blood volume received this time was 17,200 cc. Assistant Professor Natthasamorn Thanakulrangsri said, “The Special Affairs Division And the Corporate Communications Division, together with the Central Blood Bank, Faculty of Medicine, have jointly organized a blood donation project every 3 months. This project is intended to raise awareness among our staff in saving lives of patients both inside and outside the university. In addition, the Central Blood Bank is in short supply of blood at times. The use of the President’s Office as a donation point is because it is a convenient area for parking and is a parking lot for the university’s shuttle bus. Humanities Thai, KKU organizes training “How to write online news to make it a hit” to support career development skills for digital-age students

On Saturday, September 9, 2023, the Thai Language Department, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University, organized a workshop on “How to Write Great Online News and Video Editing Techniques on Mobile Phones with the CAPCUT App” at HS5307 Smart Classroom, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Ms. Phanit Khannak, Public Relations Officer, Corporate Communications Division, Khon Kaen University, was the speaker for this training. Ms. Phanit Khannak (Namwan), an alumna of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Thai Language Department, Khon Kaen University, shared her knowledge and experience from working as an online reporter for Thai PBS News Agency, Bangkok, with more than 30 fourth-year students in the Thai Language and German Departments through this training activity. The workshop introduced online news writing techniques, especially in writing headlines, blurbs, and quotes from interviews that went viral on social media, as well as thinking about content for presenting online news. In addition to the lectures, this activity also provided a space for participating students to practice writing news and analyzing news, so that everyone could understand the online news process and learn news reporting techniques in the digital age. Khon Kaen University welcomes Rajabhat Roi Et University to study corporate communications.

Khon Kaen University welcomes lecturers and students from Roi Et Rajabhat University to study modern communication arts and corporate communication, opening up perspectives beyond textbooks. On Friday, February 5, 2021, Khon Kaen University, led by Assistant to the President for Special Affairs, Khon Kaen University, and the staff of the Communication Division, Khon Kaen University, welcomed a 20-member study group on Corporate Communications from the Office of the President, Nakhon Phanom University, led by Ms. Wannwachira Chanthamethee, Head of Corporate Communications, Central Division, Nakhon Phanom University, at the Sarasin Meeting Room, Sirikunakorn Building, Khon Kaen University. The activity started with Assistant to the President for Special Affairs, Khon Kaen University, Ms. Natsamol Thanakulrangsrit, welcomed the study group. On Thursday, September 3, 2020, the Corporate Communications Division, Khon Kaen University, organized a ceremony to congratulate and present plaques to the recipients of the 2020 Corporate Communications Division honorary awards. Assistant to the President for Special Affairs, Khon Kaen University, Mr. Natsamol Thanakulrangsrit, presided over the ceremony and presented the awards. Mr. Chumporn Para, Director of the Corporate Communications Division, Khon Kaen University, gave a report.  The Communications Division adjusts to the new normal, receiving training on Digital Signature, using digital documents instead of paper.

On June 11, 2020, at the Corporate Communications Division, Khon Kaen University, Mr. Chumporn Para, Director of the Corporate Communications Division, led the personnel of the Corporate Communications Division to receive training on the installation of digital signatures or Digital ID & Digital Signature. The honored speakers were Mr. Thanya Phakdee, Director of the Central Administration Division, along with Mr. Phasaphan Jinota and Ms. Chudarat Khamwan, practical lecturers, who provided knowledge on the use of electronic signatures to verify identity in digital documents in accordance with the Digital Transformation Policy of Khon Kaen University. Khon Kaen University has been driving digital signatures since 2017 until the COVID-19 pandemic. Reducing contact through sending documents via correspondence was one of the issues that was discussed. It was found that using electronic documents was an important option. Therefore, Khon Kaen University has issued a Digital ID that complies with the standards of electronic signatures under the Electronic Transactions Act and the correspondence regulations, allowing individual personnel to install their own digital signatures on their computers using Adobe Acrobat Reader or Adobe Acrobat Pro to fully perform digital correspondence. Faculty of Liberal Arts students, KKU Nong Khai Campus, visit the Corporate Communication Division to learn and practice before entering the media labor market.

On February 12, 2020, students from the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Nong Khai Campus, Khon Kaen University, visited the Office of Corporate Communications to study public relations and corporate image building at the Office of Corporate Communications, Khon Kaen University. The study tour was led by Ms. Phakkawee Chaisiri, a lecturer in English for Public Relations. Mr. Thanya Phakdi, Director of the Office of Corporate Communications, gave a welcome speech and the personnel of the Office of Corporate Communications talked about the missions of each department. The off-site study tour project is part of the teaching of the subject 944466 English for Public Relations in the second semester of the 2019 academic year. The objective is to provide students with the opportunity to learn about public relations from lecturers with experience in real workplaces and to apply the knowledge they have gained to their future work effectively. This opens up new horizons and enhances learning experiences for students sustainably.
