Khon Kaen University welcomes the EdPEx study group from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon.
On Tuesday, December 24, 2024, 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., Dr. Phawana Kittiwimolchai, Acting Director of the Education Quality Development Division, led executives and personnel of the Education Quality Development Division to welcome a study group from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, led by Dr. Nattavorn Rachasiriwacharaboon, President, consisting of 24 university executives, executives of supporting units, and personnel from various units, to exchange knowledge on educational quality management approaches for excellent performance, Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx) at the university level at the Kalpruek 7 Meeting Room, 2nd floor, Sirikunakorn Building, Office of the President, Khon Kaen University. Dr. Nattavorn Rachasiriwacharaboon said, “Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon is committed to EdPEx because the Office of the President has 4 units that will be the pilots in developing educational quality management guidelines for excellent performance (EdPEx), and it is known that Khon Kaen University has been continuously developing, which can be used as a good guideline for operations. Therefore, the exchange of knowledge on the Educational Quality Criteria for Excellence (EdEPx) was coordinated to be used as a management tool this time.” Dr. Phawana Kittiwimolchai said that “Khon Kaen University’s educational quality assurance has been continuously implemented. At the university and faculty levels, the Educational Quality Criteria for Excellence (EdEPx) has been used as a management tool, resulting in outstanding and visible results. At the curriculum level, we have a policy for all programs to use the AUN-QA criteria, which are ASEAN quality criteria, from the academic year 2025 onwards. On this occasion, we are ready to deliver and exchange information that Khon Kaen University has implemented to be used as a guideline for future operations.” Then, Dr. Phawana Kittiwimolchai gave a lecture on the topic of “Educational Quality Assurance System according to the Educational Quality Criteria for Excellence (EdPEx)” and there was a wide exchange of knowledge, such as guidelines for transferring policies on the implementation of the EdPEx criteria, which is a management tool, to be implemented at the university and department levels, guidelines for collecting and storing data for self-evaluation reports, preparation for assessment, assessment guidelines, as well as issues, obstacles, and solutions to ensure that operations achieve their goals. This is considered an academic service to external agencies at the university level and an opportunity for exchange of knowledge.
