วันที่ 4 ธันวาคม 2563 โครงการวิจัยท้าทายไทย : ประเทศไทยไร้พยาธิใบไม้ตับ Fluke Free Thailand ภายใต้สถาบันวิจัยมะเร็งท่อน้ำดี มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น โดยการสนับสนุนจากสำนักงานการวิจัยแห่งชาติ (วช.) ร่วมกับคณะกรรมการเขตสุขภาพเพื่อประชาชน เขตพื้นที่ 7 (กขป.7) พร้อมภาคีเครือข่ายทั้งหน่วยงานภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนในอำเภอชุมแพ จ.ขอนแก่น ร่วมกันจัดงาน “มหกรรมรณรงค์เพื่อป้องกันและกำจัดโรคพยาธิใบไม้ตับและมะเร็งท่อน้ำดี เทศบาลตำบลหนองไผ่ อำเภอชุมแพ จังหวัดขอนแก่น “หนองไผ่โมเดล” ณ เทศบาลตำบลหนองไผ่ อำเภอชุมแพ จังหวัดขอนแก่น ได้รับเกียรติจากนางสุภาวดี ศรีสุขวัฒน์ นายอำเภอชุมแพ จ.ขอนแก่น เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิด โดยมีนายประทีป หีบแก้ว นายกเทศมนตรีตำบลหนองไผ่ กล่าวต้อนรับ รศ.นพ.ณรงค์ ขันตีแก้ว ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันวิจัยมะเร็งท่อน้ำดี มข. กล่าวถึงความเป็นมาและแผนการทำงานของโครงการฯ โดยการจัดมหกรรมรณรงค์ในครั้งนี้เป็นการสร้างแรงขับเคลื่อนในชุมชนในการแก้ไขปัญหาโรคพยาธิใบไม้ตับและมะเร็งท่อน้ำดีอย่างบูรณาการและยั่งยืนในพื้นที่ตำบลต้นแบบ “หนองไผ่โมเดล” และเป็นการสร้างโอกาสในการเข้าถึงการบริการตรวจคัดกรองมะเร็งท่อน้ำดีด้วยเครื่องอัลตร้าซาวด์ในโรงพยาบาลส่งเสริมสุขภาพตำบล โดยมีผู้สนใจเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมครั้งนี้กว่า 800 คน รศ.นพ.ณรงค์ ขันตีแก้ว กล่าวว่า “โรคมะเร็งท่อน้ำดี ถือเป็นปัญหาสาธารณสุขที่ประชาชนเสียชีวิตอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยเฉพาะประชากรในวัยทำงานที่เป็นหัวหน้าครอบครัวอายุระหว่าง 40-60 ปี นำไปสู่การสูญเสียรายได้เสียโอกาสในการทำงาน เป็นอุปสรรคที่คอยฉุดรั้งการพัฒนาประเทศ คร่าชีวิตประชาชนไปกว่าปีละ […]

On December 2, 2020, the Cholangiocarcinoma Research Institute, Khon Kaen University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Narong Khantikaew, Director, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Watcharin Loylom, Committee Member and Secretary, attended the workshop to showcase the prototype network schools in the workshop on the development and promotion of teaching and learning management of the liver fluke disease and bile duct cancer curriculum in Ban Haed and Ban Phai Districts, Khon Kaen Province at Inpawa Hotel, Ban Phai, Khon Kaen Province. Mr. Sunet Thongpho, Deputy Director of Khon Kaen Educational Service Area Office 2, was honored to preside over the opening ceremony and present a plaque of honor and cash prizes to the prototype schools that have excellent teaching and learning management of the liver fluke disease and bile duct cancer curriculum. Then, there was a report on the results of the project implementation, training, and a follow-up visit to implement the curriculum for solving the problem of liver fluke and bile duct cancer in schools by Assoc. Prof. Ladda Silanoi and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Angkana Tungkasamit from the Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University. Then, there was a discussion on experiences in implementing the curriculum in schools and communities. Which is a representative from school administrators, teachers, parents and students, with a display of the results of implementing the curriculum in the form of an exhibition of each school. Model schools that have organized teaching of the curriculum for liver fluke disease and bile duct cancer at an excellent level include: 1. Nong Kham Pittayakhom School, Ban Haet Subdistrict, Ban Haet District; 2. Nong Saeng Wittayakhom School, Nong Saeng Subdistrict, Ban Haet District; 3. Ban Kham Pom School, Ban Haet District; 4.

On November 30, 2020, the Cholangiocarcinoma Research Institute, Khon Kaen University, in collaboration with the Department of Radiology, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, organized a practical training workshop on “Bile duct cancer screening using ultrasound for general practitioners, 3/2020” at Avani Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Center, Khon Kaen Province, with 55 physicians from Health Regions 7, 8, 9 and 10 participating in the training. The event was honored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Warin Phutrak, Deputy Head of the Department of Radiology for Academic Affairs, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, as the chairman of the opening ceremony. The lecture topics included Imaging in Cholangiocarcinoma: Overview and Normal sonographic findings of hepatobiliary system by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nittaya Chamadol, as well as lectures on Ultrasound findings in parenchymatous liver disease, Ultrasound in Gallbladder and biliary tree disease and Ultrasound in liver masses by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chulalak.

On November 27, 2020, the Cholangiocarcinoma Research Institute, Khon Kaen University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Narong Khantikaew, Director of the Research Institute, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Watcharin Loylom, Board Member and Secretary of the Research Institute, along with 14 researchers and working groups, held a discussion meeting with the National Nanotechnology Center under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), led by Dr. Paisal Khanchaithit, Head of the Nano Needle Research Team, Nano Responsive Materials and Sensors Research Group, National Nanotechnology Center, NSTDA, to discuss the development of a joint research project at Meeting Room 5102, Wechawichakarn Building, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, Khon Kaen Province. Dr. Paisal Khanchaithit, Head of the Nano Needle Research Team, presented the research direction of Nanorobotics and Microneedles, and then invited the research team from Khon Kaen University to ask questions and discuss together in order to lead to the development of a joint research project in this area. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Narong Khantikaew, Director of the Cholangiocarcinoma Research Institute, presented the issues of diagnosis and treatment of cholangiocarcinoma. and the need for innovation, leading to cooperation in developing innovations to solve the problems of liver fluke disease and bile duct cancer in the future. After that, the working group of the National Nanotechnology Center visited the working process of liver fluke analysis and screening from antigens in urine at the CASCAP laboratory on the floor.

On October 26-27, 2020, Cholangiocarcinoma Research Institute, Khon Kaen University, in collaboration with the Department of Radiology, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, organized a practical training workshop on Cholangiocarcinoma Screening by Ultrasound for General Physicians, 2/2020, at Avani Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Center. The training was attended by 59 physicians from Health Regions 7, 8, 9, and 10. The event was honored to have Dr. Pratana Chaochuen, Head of the Department of Radiology, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, preside over the opening ceremony. This event was followed by a lecture on "Imaging in Cholangiocarcinoma: Overview" and "Normal sonographic finding of hepatobiliary system" by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nittaya Chamadol, as well as a lecture on "Ultrasound findings in 

วันที่ 2 กันยายน 2563 สถาบันวิจัยมะเร็งท่อน้ำดี มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น นำโดย รศ.นพ.ณรงค์ ขันตีแก้ว ผู้อำนวยการ พร้อมคณะกรรมการบริหาร เข้าร่วมงานและถ่ายทอดรายละเอียดกิจกรรมของสถาบันวิจัยฯ ในงานแถลงข่าว โครงการ KKU CSV มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นร่วมสร้างคุณค่าสู่สังคม ประจําปี 2563 โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก อาจารย์ณัฐสมล ธนกุลรังสฤษดิ์ ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการพิเศษ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น กล่าวต้อนรับสื่อมวลชน โดยมีผู้บริหาร บุคลากร หน่วยงาน ภาคีเครือข่าย และสื่อมวลชน ร่วมงานกว่า 100 คน ณ ห้องสิริคุณากร 3 ชั้น 2 อาคารสิริคุณากร มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น โดยมหกรรม “มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นบริการชุมชน” ภายใต้โครงการ KKU CSV มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นร่วมสร้างคุณค่าสู่สังคม ประจําปี 2563 จะจัดขึ้นในวันพุธที่ 9 กันยายน 2563 เวลา 09.00-16.00 น. ณ สถานีรถไฟขอนแก่น จ.ขอนแก่น เพื่อเป็นการบริการวิชาการสู่สังคม การอุทิศเพื่อชุมชนและสังคม ในครั้งนี้เน้นการบริการวิชาการด้วยการสร้างคุณค่าร่วม
