On May 2, 2022, the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Pensri Charoenwanich, Dean, along with executives, lecturers, staff, and students, welcomed the inspection committee of the project to apply educational quality criteria for internal educational quality assurance (EdPEx300) via the online system. The committee consists of 1.) Assistant Professor Nopadol Thongnopnuea, Chairman of the Committee 2.) Assistant Professor Somyot Wattanakamolchai, Committee Member 3.) Ms. Sunantha Kachesanan, Committee Member. This assessment was held to allow the Faculty to present overall information and performance results to the Committee. It is also a good opportunity for executives and those involved in educational quality assurance to hear a summary of the Faculty's overall performance. In addition, the assessment committee will receive information from executives and staff at all levels to be useful for assessing the Faculty's management quality in the future. Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University organized the 2nd activity to transfer outstanding research results of lecturers and students (KKBS-Show Case): SDGs to prototype innovation communities and exhibition of Show and Share works of the project to upgrade the economy and society in each sub-district (1 sub-district 1 university) 2021 and 5 strong communities. The event was honored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thidarat Boonmas, Vice President for Innovation and Enterprise, Khon Kaen University, as the chairman of the ceremony and Dr. Witika Tangchan, Assistant Dean for Innovation and Graduate Studies, Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, who gave a report. More than 100 researchers, lecturers, students and community enterprises attended the event. Dr. Thidarat Boonmas, Vice President for Innovation and Enterprise, Khon Kaen University, said that Khon Kaen University has supported the policy of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation by participating in the project to upgrade the economy and society in each sub-district (U2T) and other areas in the Roi Kaen-Sarasin provinces, resulting in continuous development of the community and an upgrade in every aspect.

On April 26, 2022, the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Pensri Charoenwanich, Dean, along with executives, lecturers, and staff of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, welcomed Assistant Professor Dr. Natrapee Tancho, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, and executives, lecturers, and staff from the Faculty of Business Administration, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, to study the topic of management systems and organizational development according to the quality criteria for excellent operations (EdPEx 200) or the quality criteria for education for excellent operations, which is a framework for developing management quality according to the guidelines of the Malcolm Balbrigge National Quality Award: MBNQA criteria, which is a model for the national quality award, to be applied in the organization. On Monday, April 4, 2022, at the Sanya Dharmasakti Meeting Room, Dome Building, 2nd Floor, and Pridi Square, Thammasat University, Tha Phrachan Campus, Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, Associate Professor Dr. Pensri Charoenwanich, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, signed a memorandum of understanding with 9 leading higher education institutions in business administration in Thailand, namely 1. Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University 2. Faculty of Business Administration, Chiang Mai University 3. Faculty of Business Administration, Kasetsart University 4. Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University 5. Faculty of Management Science, Prince of Songkla University 6. Faculty of Management and Tourism, Burapha University 7. Faculty of Business Administration, National Institute of Development Administration 8. Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration, Chulalongkorn University and 9. Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Thammasat University, to establish the “Business School Network of Thailand (BSNT)” to work together on academic matters.

On April 8, 2022, Associate Professor Dr. Pensri Charoenwanich, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, revealed that the SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR) has published the results of the 2022 global ranking of higher education institutions (Scimago Institutions Rankings 2022) via the website https://www.scimagoir.com. The results of the national rankings in the field of Business, Management and Accounting, Khon Kaen University is ranked 2nd out of 18 educational institutions in Thailand that were ranked. The SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR) is a ranking of institutions with international research output, which ranks 7,533 organizations with research output worldwide. It does not only count universities, but also includes specialized institutions such as institutes of technology, colleges, hospitals, research institutes, etc. It is a ranking of universities and research institutes in terms of their ability to publish all types of academic works of the institution or university on the Scopus database.
