KKBS organizes a strategic corporate seminar for good management, aiming to become a Premier Business School, an educational institution that meets the needs of global industrial businesses.

On November 15, 2014, the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Phongsutthi Poon-saen, Dean, together with executives, lecturers, and staff, attended the Strategic Organization Seminar for Good Management in Fiscal Year 2025 to set guidelines for driving the strategy towards the vision, create awareness and understanding of the operations to achieve the objectives and goals according to the strategic plan in Fiscal Years 2025-2028 under the vision of “KKBS is a premier business school focused on industrial integration for sustainable economic development.” The activities included lectures to create awareness and understanding of the operational direction and driving the strategy towards the vision, as well as activities to exchange knowledge and listen to opinions. The event was held at the Welcome Room, Bayasita Hotel, Khon Kaen University. KKBS joins hands with SITE THAILAND CHAPTER to raise the standards of the MICE industry in all dimensions.

On October 18, 2024, the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, organized a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding on the integration of regional MICE network centers between the Tourism Promotion Association (Thailand) and the Northeast MICE Education Network Center and the Center of Excellence for MICE and Business Events (CEMBEI), Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University. The ceremony was honored by the executives of both agencies, including Assistant Professor Dr. Phongsutthi Phuensaen, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Assistant Professor Dr. Dolruthai Kowattanakul, Director of the Center of Excellence for MICE and Business Events, Khon Kaen University, and Ms. Panporn Wongchanphen, President of the Tourism Promotion Association (Thailand), who jointly signed the memorandum of understanding on the integration of regional MICE network centers at the Kaen Lounge, 2nd floor, Ad Lib Hotel, Khon Kaen. The signing of this academic cooperation memorandum of understanding aims to develop, upgrade, and integrate relevant agencies in the development of the MICE industry with cooperation from all sectors, both public and private, to complement knowledge between regions, create competitiveness of the MICE industry to compete internationally, and plan joint operations between regions. To develop the area according to the policy and needs of the MICE business sector, with clear strategic goals and operational guidelines, as well as promoting the transfer of knowledge in the MICE industry, developing learning skills to cover the content of organizing meetings and international exhibitions, including integrating cooperation to develop cities to be ready to support MICE events, and developing the potential of personnel, including students, lecturers, and entrepreneurs in various regions, to be ready and qualified to enter the MICE industry that meets the current situation.

KKU student wins 100,000 baht scholarship to support startup business “3D business from plastic waste in one stop service”

Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University would like to congratulate the “Begin Bright 3D” team for receiving a 100,000-baht IDEATION (IDEA) program grant for product and business plan development, TED Youth Startup Project from the Technology and Innovation Entrepreneurship Development Fund (TED Fund) in 2024 from the project “3D Business from Integrated Plastic Waste” under the supervision of Dr. Anont Khamworn, a lecturer in Marketing and project advisor. KKBS orientation for new students, PRE-B program, providing an opportunity for advanced study for a Bachelor of Business Administration and Accounting with accumulated credits.

On October 8, 2024, the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, organized an orientation for students in the KKBS PRE-B (Pre-Bachelor Degree) lifelong learning program, first semester, academic year 2024 (8th batch) in the Advanced Bachelor's Degree Program with Accumulated Credits, which had more than 100 participants in this orientation, both on-site and online. The event was honored by Assistant Professor Dr. Phongsutthi Phuensaen, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, as the opening ceremony chairman. Then there was a lecture on the topic of "Lifelong Learning (Subject-Based), Bachelor's Degree Program, Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy" by Dr. Witika Tangchan, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, to inform students of the study plan and teaching process throughout the program, as well as to be able to plan their studies correctly and appropriately for lifelong learning in the form of accumulated credits (Credit banks) of the Bachelor's Degree Lifelong Learning Program. On October 2, 2024, the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University organized the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on Academic Cooperation between the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University and the Faculty of Administrative Science, Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia. KKBS went to the area to donate items to help flood victims in Nong Khai Province through the activity “Stand With KKBS”

On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Phongsutthi Phuensaen, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, along with representatives of the executives, personnel and students, together with representatives from Bayasita Hotel, Khon Kaen University, visited the area to deliver donated items to help restore and encourage flood victims in Nong Khai Province. The donations were delivered to 3 locations: 1. Flood Relief Center, Wat Pho Chai, Royal Monastery, Mueang District, which received the kindness of Phra Thep Wachirakhun, Assoc. Prof. Dr., the provincial abbot of Nong Khai, the abbot of Wat Pho Chai, the royal monastery, along with the monks who received consumer goods and supplies from the faculty. Which will be distributed to various flood-stricken areas in Nong Khai Province. 2. Wat Jampa Thong, Ban Nong Yang Kham, Tambon Kong Nang, Amphoe Tha Bo, which received kindness from Phra Thep Sriyanwong, the Deputy Abbot of Nong Khai Province, the Vice President of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University Nong Khai Campus, the abbot of Wat Sri Chomphu Ong Tue, along with monks, community leaders, and locals to receive consumer goods from the Faculty. The community has sacrificed itself to prevent the water from overflowing to the neighboring areas. Currently, only one entrance and exit route has been closed. The community leaders informed the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy to be the first agency to enter the area. 3. Thesaban 1 School, Sawang Witthaya, Mueang District, which has approximately 40 volleyball players staying at the school. However, due to severe flooding, the buildings and belongings were damaged. On September 12, 2024, the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, organized the signing ceremony of the academic cooperation memorandum of understanding between Khon Kaen University and the Khon Kaen Business and Professional Women's Association.
