Education – Nursing join forces to develop human resources and early childhood education innovations

January 29, 2025 – Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issara Kanjak, Dean of the Faculty of Education, along with executives of the Faculty of Education and the Demonstration School of Khon Kaen University, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOA) with the Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University, with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ampornpan Thiranut, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, along with executives. This cooperation focuses on developing personnel, staff, early childhood teachers, and training for students through the exchange of knowledge in education and health, as well as the joint development of curricula and research to create learning innovations that meet the needs of society. Both faculties will work together to improve the quality of early childhood education by integrating knowledge with appropriate practices, leading to changes and sustainable development in the future. The signing of this MOA is an important step for both faculties in integrating knowledge in education and health to create learning approaches and develop the potential of personnel in a broader dimension, including supporting quality early childhood education that is consistent with educational and public health standards.

Faculty of Nursing participated in the wreath-laying ceremony to pay homage to Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra on National Nurses Day 2024.

On Monday, October 21, 2024, the Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University, joined the wreath-laying ceremony to pay homage to Her Majesty Queen Srinagarindra the Queen Mother on the occasion of National Nurses Day 2024 to honor and commemorate the great kindness of Her Majesty Queen Srinagarindra the Queen Mother who devoted herself to the development of the health and well-being of the people, especially in remote rural areas, and her immeasurable compassion for the nursing and midwifery professions. The ceremony was chaired by Mr. Kraisorn Kongchalad, Governor of Khon Kaen Province, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ampornphan Thiranut, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University, executives, students of the Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University, representatives from agencies in the Ministry of Public Health, health professional councils, hospitals, and nursing educational institutions, presidents of associations/clubs, the Nurses Association of Thailand, Northeastern Branch Office, Asst.
