https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVzvuW9dYUI รศ.นพ.ชาญชัย พานทองวิริยะกุล รักษาการแทน อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น กล่าวว่า ในนามของมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นขอแสดงความยินดีกับบัณฑิต มหาบัณฑิต และดุษฎีบัณฑิต ที่จะเข้ารับพระราชทานปริญญาบัตรประจำปี 2562 ทุกท่าน ด้านการทำงาน ความรู้และทักษะ มั่นใจว่าท่านได้รับการเรียนการสอนจากมหาวิทยาลัยเป็นอย่างดีแล้ว ในด้านชีวิตจริงของการทำงานกับสังคมภายนอก เป็นสิ่งสำคัญนอกเหนือจากความรู้ทักษะต่าง ๆ ยังมีเรื่องของวินัยการทำงานและความอดทนจึงจะเป็นกุญแจสำคัญที่ทำให้ทุกท่านประสบความสำเร็จ ในการทำงานทุกวันนี้ความรู้และเทคโนโลยีนั้นมีการปรับเปลี่ยนอย่างรวดเร็วและบัณฑิตทุกท่านจะต้องติดตาม มีการพัฒนาความก้าวหน้าทางวิชาการรวมทั้งทักษะใหม่ ๆ อยู่ตลอดเวลา ซึ่งมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นเองก็เช่นกัน เราได้มีการเตรียมการสำหรับที่จะพัฒนาต่อยอดความรู้ให้ท่านที่ทันสมัยและทักษะใหม่ ๆ อยู่เสมอ ขอถือโอกาสนี้อวยพรให้ทุกคนได้ประสบผลสำเร็จในเส้นทางการทำงานให้มีความก้าวหน้าในหน้าที่การงานและชีวิตครอบครัว ทั้งนี้มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นมีจำนวนผู้สำเร็จการศึกษา ประจำปี 2562 รวมทั้งสิ้น 7,998 คน แบ่งเป็น ปริญญาเอก 290 คน ประกาศนียบัตรบัณฑิตชั้นสูง 149 คน ปริญญาโท 1,172 คน และ ปริญญาตรี 6,387 คน มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น จึงขอแสดงความยินดีมา ณ โอกาสนี้ การนี้ พระบาทสมเด็จพระปรเมนทรรามาธิบดีศรีสินทรมหาวชิราลงกรณ พระวชิรเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าโปรดกระหม่อมให้ สมเด็จพระกนิษฐาธิราชเจ้า กรมสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี เสด็จพระราชดำเนินแทนพระองค์ทรงประกอบพิธีพระราชทานปริญญาบัตรแก่ผู้สำเร็จการศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น

KKU's world rankings move up in the field of medicine and health.
Khon Kaen University has moved up in the world rankings for medicine and health, according to the announcement of the “Times Higher Education” rankings. “Times Higher Education” or “THE”, a world university ranking organization from the UK, has announced the results of the 2020 World University Rankings for Clinical, Pre-clinical and Health, which uses reliable and rigorous performance indicators that are the same indicators in the overall rankings of universities worldwide. THE has adjusted the weighting of scores to be appropriate for each subject. The ranking focuses on leading universities in medicine, dentistry and other health subjects. This year’s university rankings include 775 universities, up from 721 last year. The results show that there are 7 Thai universities in the world rankings in this subject: Mahidol University, Chulalongkorn University, Khon Kaen University, Chiang Mai University, Prince of Songkla University, Naresuan University and Thammasat University. As a result of the 2020 rankings, Khon Kaen University has moved up to 501–600 in the world and is ranked 3rd in Thailand, along with Chiang Mai University and Prince of Songkla University.

Khon Kaen University takes students to harvest rice, learning lessons from the community's intellectual heritage
On Friday, November 22, 2019, at the rice field of Mrs. Somparn Phapao, Ban Ton, Phra Yuen Subdistrict, Mueang District, Khon Kaen Province, Khon Kaen University, represented by the Academic Service Office, Faculty of Agriculture, and International College, organized the “Sufficiency Economy Community Model” project in collaboration with Phra Yuen District, Ban Ton Municipality, and Betagro Group’s Social Activity Office to revive and continue good traditions, learning lessons from the “Rice Harvesting” community in a local way, local wisdom. Associate Professor Kriangkrai Kitcharoen, Vice President for Human Resources, Acting Director of the Academic Service Office, presided over the opening ceremony. Mr. Suttipong Khamnuthai, member of the Ban Ton Municipality Council, gave a welcome speech to the attendees. Mrs. Anong Chaisri, Permanent Secretary of Ban Ton Municipality, Acting Mayor of Ban Ton Municipality, gave a report to the chairman of the opening ceremony. Students, personnel, community leaders, and farmers in the community participated in the “Rice Harvesting” activity, continuing the intellectual heritage from generation to generation in another dimension.
