วันที่ 3 เมษายน 2568  เวลา 11.00 น. สำนักหอสมุด มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เปิดตัว KKU Research Hub ซึ่งเป็นนวัตกรรมการบริการ (service innovation) เพื่อสนับสนุนการเรียนรู้และพัฒนาทักษะที่จำเป็น ในกระบวนการทำวิจัย อย่างครบวงจร  โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก รศ.นพ. ชาญชัย พานทองวิริยะกุล รักษาการแทนอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิด โดยมี รศ.นพ.สุพัชญ์ สีนะวัฒน์ ผู้อำนวยการ สำนักหอสมุด มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น กล่าวรายงานโครงการ ท่ามกลางผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ และนักวิจัย รวมงานจำนวนมาก ณ บริเวณโถงชั้น 2 อาคารศูนย์สารสนเทศ สำนักหอสมุด มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ในปี 2568 นี้ เพื่อเฉลิมฉลอง ในวาระที่มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ก่อตั้งมาครบ 60 ปี และ กำลังก้าวย่างเข้าสู่ทศวรรษที่ 7 สำนักหอสมุด มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น จึงได้พัฒนา นวัตกรรมการบริการ (service innovation) ที่ชื่อว่า “KKU […]

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, presided over the closing ceremony of “DE OUTBOX: Digital Entrepreneur Showcase – The Concept to Concrete 2025” and presented awards to the winning student teams of the innovation business competition at Central Khon Kaen Shopping Mall on April 1, 2025. The President of Khon Kaen University said in the closing ceremony that “I am impressed by the creativity and potential of all student teams that participated in the competition. Every project demonstrates their readiness to be quality digital entrepreneurs who can apply knowledge from the classroom in a tangible way, which is in line with the university’s goal of producing graduates who are ready to cope with changes in the digital business world.” As for the results of the DE Outbox Pitching competition, there were 16 student business teams that entered the competition, divided into 3 categories: Cosmetics, Platform & Services, and Food & Goods. The winners of each category received cash prizes and opportunities to expand their businesses with business partners and sources of funding, with a total prize value of over 30,000 baht. Asst. Faculty of Engineering joins hands with Solar Tech Center Co., Ltd. to jointly promote the development of energy innovations.

On March 26, 2025 – Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, together with Solar Tech Center Co., Ltd., signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote cooperation in research and development of energy innovations, focusing on the development of knowledge in solar energy, clean technology, and practical training courses. The signing ceremony was held at Meeting Room 1, 8th Floor, Piavijit Building, Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, with Mr. Chanyuth Nasampong, Managing Director of Solar Tech Center Co., Ltd. and executives joining Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rachapol Santiwarakorn, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, executives, and distinguished guests from the education and industry sectors. Assoc. จากเหตุการณ์แผ่นดินไหวที่เกิดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 28 มีนาคม 2568 ส่งผลให้หลายพื้นที่ในประเทศไทยรับรู้ถึงแรงสั่นสะเทือนรวมถึงจังหวัดขอนแก่น ฝ่ายโครงสร้างพื้นฐานและสิ่งแวดล้อม มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้ดำเนินการสำรวจพื้นที่อย่างเร่งด่วนเพื่อประเมินความเสียหายและความปลอดภัยของอาคารและสิ่งแวดล้อมภายในมหาวิทยาลัย ล่าสุด รศ.ดร.ชูพงษ์ ทองคำสมุทร รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายโครงสร้างพื้นฐานและสิ่งแวดล้อม มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เปิดเผยว่า ได้รับมอบหมายจาก รศ.นพ.ชาญชัย พานทองวิริยะกุล อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ให้ดำเนินการสำรวจพื้นที่โดยเร่งด่วนตามแผน Business Continuous Management (BCM) ที่กำหนดเพิ่มเติมใหม่ โดยมีการลงพื้นที่สำรวจในช่วงวันที่ 29-30 มีนาคม 2568 ร่วมกับคณบดีและผู้บริหารแต่ละคณะในการสำรวจโครงสร้างอาคารเพื่อให้มั่นใจในความปลอดภัยของบุคลากรและนักศึกษาทุกฝ่ายเช่นเดียวกัน ผลจากการสำรวจในหลายพื้นที่ ทั้งอาคารเรียน อาคารสำนักงาน และส่วนงานต่าง ๆ พบว่าความเสียหายส่วนใหญ่ไม่ได้กระทบต่อโครงสร้างหลักของอาคาร โดยมีเพียงความเสียหายเล็กน้อย เช่น ปูนฉาบกระเทาะ กระเบื้องร่อน กระจกแตก ผิวปูนฉาบมีรอยร้าวระดับพื้นผิว พื้นคอนกรีตทางเดินเท้าทรุดตัว หรือเป็นรอยร้าวจากการทรุดตัวเดิม เป็นต้น อย่างไรก็ตาม รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายโครงสร้างพื้นฐานและสิ่งแวดล้อม ยืนยันว่าบุคลากรและนักศึกษาสามารถเข้าใช้งานอาคารได้ตามปกติ พร้อมขอบคุณบุคลากรทุกฝ่าย ทั้งฝ่ายกายภาพและสิ่งแวดล้อม กองอาคารและสถานที่ กองสาธารณูปโภคและสิ่งแวดล้อม รวมถึงกองป้องกันและรักษาความปลอดภัย ที่ได้ร่วมกันดำเนินการตามแผนบริหารความเสี่ยงและแผนการฟื้นฟูอย่างต่อเนื่องจนสำเร็จลุล่วงด้วยดี   อย่างไรก็ตาม มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นขอความร่วมมือบุคลากรและนักศึกษาทุกส่วนงาน หากพบรอยแตกร้าวที่บริเวณเสาหรือคาน โดยเฉพาะรอยร้าวแนวเฉียงทแยง หรือรอยแตกร้าวเดิมที่ขยายขนาดเพิ่มขึ้น ขอให้แจ้งข้อมูลไปยังฝ่ายกายภาพและสิ่งแวดล้อม หรือกองอาคารสถานที่ เพื่อให้ทีมงานเข้าสำรวจและประเมินแนวทางการซ่อมแซมต่อไป

Joy! KKU designs KKU Emergency Alert to warn of earthquakes via Google Chat

The Department of Education and Digital, Khon Kaen University, is moving forward with the use of the KKU IntelSphere intelligent system to design the KKU Emergency Alert, which will warn of earthquakes no more than 2,000 kilometers away from Khon Kaen University via Google Chat. This is due to the 7.7-magnitude earthquake in Myanmar. Some of the tremors were felt in Thailand, including in Khon Kaen Province, especially inside tall buildings at Khon Kaen University on March 28. On Saturday, March 29, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Denpong Sudphakdee, Khon Kaen University’s Vice President for Education and Digital, revealed that Khon Kaen University has applied the KKU IntelSphere technology to create the KKU Emergency Alert earthquake warning system by pulling data from the US Geological Survey (USGS), a geological research agency in the United States, to send alerts via the KKU Google Chat system. As for the KKU Emergency Alert, the alert radius is set to 2,000 kilometers from Khon Kaen University, along with the intensity of the earthquake for which an alert is desired. The initial setting is 4.5 magnitude.

เมื่อวันที่ 10-13 มีนาคม 2568 ที่ผ่านมา อุปนายกสภามหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น คณบดีคณะศึกษาศาสตร์ คณบดีวิทยาลัยนานาชาติ และคณบดีวิทยาลัยการปกครองท้องถิ่น พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหาร เดินทางไปเยือนกรุงอัสตานา ประเทศคาซัคสถาน เพื่อขยายเครือข่ายความร่วมมือทางวิชาการและวิจัยกับสถาบันการศึกษาชั้นนำในคาซัคสถานและเป็นอันดับหนึ่งของภูมิภาคเอเชียกลาง . การิเริ่มและขยายความร่วมมือในพื้นที่ใหม่ดังเช่นคาซัคสถาน เกิดจากโอกาสที่ไทยและคาซัคสถานมีความสัมพันธ์ที่แนบแน่นในระยะที่ผ่านมา มีการออกนโยบายฟรีวีซ่าของพลเมืองทั้งสองประเทศ และชาวคาซัคสถานถือว่าประเทศไทยคือจุดหมายการเดินทางที่สำคัญ (Destination) โดยเฉพาะด้านการท่องเที่ยว ประเทศคาซัคสถานถือเป็นประเทศพัฒนาใหม่ของภูมิภาคเอเชียกลางที่มีความเจริญรุดหน้าทางด้านเศรษฐกิจ วิทยาศาสตร์ และเทคโนโลยี ตั้งอยู่บนเส้นทางสายไหมและเส้นทางยุทธศาสตร์หนึ่งแถบหนึ่งเส้นทางที่สามารถเชื่อมโยงกับประเทศไทยและภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ จากที่ประเทศไทยได้กลายเป็นจุดหมายปลายทางสำคัญของคาซัคสถาน จึงเป็นโอกาสที่ดีของมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นที่จะเข้าไปริเริ่มและแสวงหาความร่วมมือใหม่ ๆ กับสถาบันการศึกษาของคาซัคสถานโดยเฉพาะด้านวิชาการและวิจัย โดยคณะ/วิทยาลัย ที่ร่วมคณะเดินทางมีเป้าหมายสำคัญที่จะริเริ่มความร่วมมือกับสถาบันการศึกษาในคาซัคสถานดังนี้ รศ.ดร.อิศรา ก้านจักร คณบดีคณะศึกษาศาสตร์ กล่าวว่า จากนโยบายที่ท่านอธิการบดีได้มอบให้เกี่ยวกับการสร้างยุทธศาสตร์ International Network: KKU Teamwork นำโดย ท่านอุปนายกสภามหาวิทยาลัย และคณะผู้บริหารจาก ED, COLA, and IC สร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือทางวิชาการกับ Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools (NIS) ซึ่งมีทั้งหมด 22 แห่งทั่วประเทศ NIS ถือเป็นโรงเรียนระดับครีมที่สุดและเป็นต้นแบบโรงเรียนแนวใหม่ของประเทศคาซัคสถาน มีวิสัยทัศน์ “We provide high learning
